Born May the 18th 1920, John Paul the 2nd was just an ordinary man once known by the name of Karol Josef Wojtyla; he was born in a small Polish town called Wadowice, and was the youngest among 3 kids in which he grew up in Nazi-occupied Poland and later in Communist-dominated Poland. Karol got he’s name from he’s father Karol Wojtyla whom was a retired non-commissioned army officer and passed away in 1941. Before he became the most respected man as we all know him in the name of John Paul the 2nd, Karol Josef Wojtyla has had accomplished numerous incredible stuff as well as had to surpass al the obstacles that he met. In 1938, Karol enrolled in a school the Krakow’s University of Jagiellonian; a school of drama which got later on closed in 1939 by the Nazi and then reopened after World War 1. Between those times when all the institutions where closed, Karol had to work in a quarry from 1940 to 1944 then the following year he worked at the Solvary chemical factor to avoid being deported in Germany.
