Slavery in its most heinous form lurks in the dark corners of every society. Human trafficking is without a doubt one of the most monstrous offenses against human rights that still occurs today. This cannot be achieved by countries simply working individually to combat traffickers, the only way to truly rid the world of traffickers if for all nations to band together to eradicate the practice globally. The issue of human trafficking should concern people from all walks of life and it is imperative for citizens to raise awareness of this crime globally so that less people are at risk of falling prey to this practice. If a truly free world is ever to exist, it is absolutely necessary for all countries to band together in global partnership with the goal of creating a world where traffickers are punished and are put away where they can never again be a menace to civilized society.
