The human body is crammed with a wide variety of secrecy. There are so many parts that make up the human body that sometimes one just cannot remember them all, or they have never heard of them. An example of one part of the human body lies inside of the nervous system, your brain. Your brain is divided into three main parts which are the forebrain, midbrain, and hindbrain. The brain has multiple functions in addition to it being pretty remarkable. According to Brain Anatomy, the average human brain weighs about three pounds or 1,300-1,400 grams. Your brain is the basic control center for your entire body. The brain itself has numerous types of jobs. A few of these would include its ability to control the five senses, our movement, and how we obtain different information.

Your brain, however; is not just a big blob of wrinkly, pink matter like some people think it is. Yes, it might look like a thing of silly putty with a bunch of squiggly lines in it, but the fact is that it can actually be broken up into numerous parts. One particular part the brain can be divided into is called the forebrain. One part of your forebrain is your cerebrum, or cortex, which is the largest part of the human brain. Cerebrum, or cortex, is broken up into four main parts including the temporal lobe, the frontal lobe, the occipital lobe and lastly the parietal lobe.

First, I will discuss the frontal lobes. According to the America Health Assistance Foundation, the frontal lobe helps control skilled muscle movements, mood, planning for the future, setting goals and judging priorities.
