Many students now fail to know on how to focus on their studies, and because of that ignorance, many students are failing on their grades. Many students now chose to stop on their studies because of addiction on computer games, vices, and the bad influences of their friends. There are many things that can take away our focus on our studies, but the question is: Do you have the guts to stop your bad habits like computer games, vices and hangouts just for your studies? And if other students are wondering on how to focus on their studies, I think the best way for them to focus is to have the key to success, which is self-discipline. What is Self Discipline?
According to Study Guides and Strategies (1996), Self-discipline is considerable as a type of training, creating new habits of thoughts, action, and speech toward developing yourself and reaching goals.
Discipline is freedom. For many people, discipline is a nasty word that is connected with the absence of freedom. As Stephen R. Covey once wrote, “the undisciplined are slaves to moods, appetites and passions”. Self-discipline demands doing according to what you “think” instead of how you “feel” in the moment. Discipline is such a serious problem in myself. Before doing the internship program, I was probably not a too discipline person. I often underestimated something, did a task approximately one day before the due date, underestimated the praying times, even lazy to do the tasks that had been given to me. I for one seen and experience that type of behavior but I think everyone gets mad at some point, it's not always the best option to keep all that anger built up but if slamming a door, make a sarcastic joke, or just being alone for few helps someone cope with that anger that it is better than using verbal

Military Discipline is a state of order and obedience existing within a command. Self discipline in the military is where soldiers do the 4 rights without being told, even in the absence of the commander. Discipline is created within a unit by instilling a sense of confidence and responsibility in each individual. To strengthen discipline, senior leaders need to give praise to their subordinates, either individually or as a whole, for tasks done well. By doing this, it will accomplish every commanders goal of having a unit that functions well and builds a bond which binds together the team. Everything in life requires some sort of discipline.
