He gain up a staff of from 10 to 700 volunteers that reached their goal of getting 400,000 registered African Americans in the state. Although, Barack didn’t need to fundraise for the position he was offered, he started an ongoing campaign to raise money for the project. The Audacity of Hope is nothing but common sense, his aesthetic appeals and persuasive ways are incredible, and I would definitely read the book a second time. After completing the book, I respect Barack Obama as our current president, and I most definitely believe that Barack, the Democratic/Republic government and all independent citizens across the country should take into consideration some traditionally liberal ideas that are available in order to make this country a better place for everyone.

Bernard “Bernie” Sanders, is one of the best candidates for this years 2016 presidential election. He is the junior United States Senator from Vermont. He has demonstrated his passion towards an equal and stabilized country. Sanders is a man who believes in a country that is equal and all voices should be heard. Socioeconomic issues are to be heard of by all people because these issues are what make the people and the country. His propositions to a better socioeconomic country will better the relationships we have with one another. Voting for Bernie Sanders, means voting for a country that will be equal to all the people living here. A country deserves to be united by all the people living here regardless of race. Barak Obama is the 44th president of the United States and also the1st black man to hold this position. He has emerged from a society of segregation to become one of the greatest leaders of the free world. He has followed in the footsteps of many great black leaders including Martin Luther King Jr. and Malcolm X. These freedom fighters have paved the way for the emergence of African Americans as leaders. Martin Luther King Jr. was a fore runner in the passing of the voting rights act of 1965 which gave everyone the chance to vote, regardless of sex, race, and class. This voting rights act now allows millions of people the opportunity to exercise their franchise. This voting freedom is one of the factors which helped to gain Obama his victory in the 2008 United States election and again in 2012. People of all races can now vote and this paper will therefore seek to critically asses the role of race in the election of Barack Obama as President.

He then appealed to pathos by bringing light to his audience with examples of racial corruption and inequality to highlight the huge need for unity and change. And finally, he capitalized on these sentiments by appealing to the ethos of advocating methods of change. With the great success of this historic and rhetorical speech, Obama assumed a new podium in November of that same exact year, but this time, to accept his election as the President of the United States.
