The Italian job comparison
The Italian job and its remake have almost nothing to do with each other but they have something alike and say this is because both of the movies are about heisting gold. The problem is that the first one is more Italian oriented than the newer version. First I will talk about the first movie and then the remake. All right the first now that is somewhat more planning than actually doing.
The plot is the main character Charlie Croker played by Michael Caine is just getting out of prison for stealing cars. But when he was in prison he made friends with an inmate who was very rich and powerful and had a lot of connections with people.
And Charlie Croker used to be very close with the mafia but now the word is out that a huge shipment of gold is being moved to a bank in England so they are figuring out a way for them to get it and pull off the greatest heist of all time.
What they do is figure out a way to make a huge traffic jam on a holiday which is when the gold is being shipped on. And they use the mini coopers to move the gold because they think there is nothing that will get you through a tighter space and get you anywhere faster than a mini. Then what they do is knock out all the guards and steals the van holding the gold and move quickly to put the gold bricks in the back of the mini's because the mafia and the cops are right behind them and they basically pull crazy stunts and tricks that they can't do to get away but that is basically it. Also the end really has you thinking "what happens."
Now for the newer version there is really some suspenseful and crazy things that u might not really understand if you don't watch the start because you will not no what they are talking about ...

But in conclusion I think that both of the Italian Job movies are good. But if I had to pick one I would pick the newer version unless you are the type of person who is into old mob or gangster films than the first movie is the one for you. The acting well was nice in the first movie but a let down is that they continuously played this one annoying song that went on forever and would not stop. But the overall sound was good.
The remake was also good they had excellent sound but that is what you would expect from a movie that was made in 2003. The soundtrack was good, and they used a variety of songs instead of just one song. Also it had an extremely good picture.

It becomes even more complicated when Irving’s and Sydney’s scams becomes uncovered by the FBI and an overambitious agent, Richie DiMaso, played by an energetic and curly haired Bradley Cooper. He pushes them to take part in scamming supposedly corrupt politicians with the help of a fake sheikh and his fictional millions. Richie is blinded by his wishful thinking and falls for Sydney and her fake British accent, and he begins to woo this imitation lady even during the arrest. To top it all, Irving starts feeling genuine friendship for one of the politicians who is supposed to be scammed, a loved honor dot (Jeremy Renner), who is mayor of Camden.

This is one of the most important scenes because it show the love and a bond forming between the two young lovers. In the movie there were some differences and similarities. Some of the similarities are that the movie did stick with Romeo Leaving his friends behind at the part to go find Juliet. As well as the part of Rome jumps over the the Capulets garden steep wall. The major difference in the two works is presentation and context. This relates directly to the representation of the main characters. By keeping the premise but altering the way the course of events occurs gives the audience a different insight into the development and representation of the characters, particularly Macbeth and Lady Macbeth. Both adaptations were very well done, particularly Scotland, PA. It shows that, with a little tweaking, comedy can be found in even the most bloody and tragic of stories.
Possibly, this demand for realistic interpretation of subject matter is a major cause of the differences between these films; however, as was shown in this paper, there are also other reasons for the variations. 1931 was a time of poverty for many Americans who needed escape into a film where traditional values were upheld: where God wins; where men and women's roles are well-defined; and where order reigns. The hardboiled detective film is still being copied today, however loosely, on TV series and Movies. The movies have some obvious similarities, but as finished products they are totally different. Many people consider The Bride of Frankenstein to be better than the original Frankenstein. This is because the sequel to Frankenstein had a musical score whereas the original Frankenstein never had one. The fact that the original lacked background music and the sequel had a wonderful music score is the biggest difference between the two movies when it came to sound. In The Bride of Frankenstein, music was used as a way of hinting things to the audience. Music would become faster and louder right before something big was about to happen and it would slow down and sound sweet in parts that were supposed to show the good, gentle side of the monster. The music also filled space in between scenes and made the film flow better.
