One very influential inventions in the early 20th century is the aircraft. Ever since the design set by the Wright brothers, it has changed in both shape and size. Throughout history people have always found a reason to travel, and now this new type of invention is allowing people to travel farther and move faster. Everyone, no matter your color, race, or gender, is allowed to travel by this new form of transportation. The evolution of the plane played a major impact on the ability to travel, since the first day of airplane being created to when commercial flight was modernized.
The history of the plane started with a dream by Wilbur and Orville Wright. They had a dream to travel in the air, so they sold their bicycle shop and started to invent the airplane. The wright brothers, Orville and Wilbur were the first to set up the design and fly the heavier than air aircraft. They accomplished their dream in 1903, where they are the first recorded flight in the air with control and power. The flight at the time of trial only lasted a little longer than 10 seconds; however, history was made. They accomplished something that few at that time could have ever imagined being possible.
A couple of year later, people started to realize they could use the plane to get people from one place to another faster than other forms of travel. 11 years after 1903, commercial flight is born. The first commercial flight took place in 1914, the St-Petersburg-Tampa boat airline was what they were being called. This airline was the first commercial flight to be born. The airline was made to make the St-Petersburg and Tampa trip shorter and faster. Without the evolution of intrastate roads, the trip would take a day or longer before either destination was...

...cident. That is why there is so much precautions is required. Throughout history the only reason why air travel is as big as it is is because air travel happens to be the safest form of travel in the world, it is even safer than traveling in the household car. The first rule of travelling anywhere is safety. And the creation of the FAA makes air travel safer than a lot of the other travelling methods that we have.
Travelling would be a lot different today if it was not for the invention by the Wright brothers. The evolution of the airplane back from it first being created to commercial flight has changed the way that people look at travelling in the early 20th century. Not only is everyone using this to their advantage when travelling, everyone could travel when and where they wanted. Without the creation and evolution of the airplane what would travelling be like?
