The Man with a Plan

The economic and job recovery plan of Herman Cain, promises to bring America back to the top. More and more people are beginning to listen and believe his visionary message. “In order to return to prosperity, government must get off our backs, out of our pockets, and out of our way.” (Herman) The feeling that the government just wants America’s economy to survive is relevant, when it should be allowing it to thrive. A new way of doing things needs to come about in Washington. Herman Cain’s job creation plan is better than the Democrats’ because of the 9-9-9 plan, reduction in legislation, and more lax regulation.

Supporters of the Democratic jobs bill say that more reforms and more legislation is the key to getting America’s economy intact. They feel the more the government controls, the less likely more damage will be done to the economy. This is a false belief because the Democrat’s plan to cut taxes and create tax incentives to many Americans will just drag out the ultimate recovery and reforms provide medial recovery. “It takes money to save money, after all” (Mailleo 33). The huge economic bailout of 2009 did absolutely nothing to help and ended up hurting more than helping. Democrats try to point out flaws in Cain’s 9-9-9 plan and his economic recovery plan by saying lower class Americans will be hurt the most. With the middle class slowly shrinking smaller and smaller, lower class citizens are a growing population. One must realize though that the 9-9-9 plan is an overall idea, a finalized plan cannot be expected till the future.

The 9-9-9 plan is the main program that Herman Cain is proposing to alleviate the economy strain. Fairness, transparency, and efficiency are promised in the plan. With si...

...erica is not about complacency. The 9-9-9 plan, along with a reduction in legislation and softer regulations holds a promising future for business and overall, America. Unity and sacrifice by American citizens will be needed to climb out of these dark times.
