Recommended: Environmental issues with deforestation

Have you ever thought of how much deforestation hurts our environment? Do you know what deforestation is? In this speech I will completely explain deforestation. Us humans are the reason deforestation is such a big deal in today’s society. We humans would rather have kitchen cabinets than mass forests that are actually keeping us alive! So remember do you think you know what deforestation is. Deforestation is basically the clearing of forests on a large scale which often results in damage to the quality of the land.
Deforestation can occur by natural causes. Just because we always hear people saying we need to stop cutting down trees doesn't mean that will end deforestation. There are many ways Mother Nature causes deforestation like storms, disease, floods, and forest fires. Storms: See on TV how tornadoes come through towns and trees are left laying everywhere. Some times in patches of woods a tornado could come through and when one trees falls on another one this could cause it to fall causing a domino effect. Diseases: Sometimes trees diseases start in an area and can wipe out a whole patch of woods within a few months or years. Tree diseases can be very deadly in a forest. The disease comes through and without human help the trees become infected and die. Disease can be given to trees through just the air they take in or even the water they take in. Floods: Floods bring lots of water into an area at a quick rate saturating the ground which weakens the ground. The trees can't hold up if the ground isn't strong enough. Forest Fires: Forest Fires are the main cause of natural deforestation. This can be very deadly by burning forests down, killing animals, and burning towns as they occur. Deforestation is not something we should take as a joke. We should take deforestation very seriously and immediately start putting bans and regulations on it before it is too late. The effects we have seen from deforestation so far have been very bad and destructive. This should be enough for people to realize how bad deforestation is hurting our environment. The effects of deforestation should be shown more to the public so they will realize this is a concern that needs attention. And the fact is that deforestation will affect all of us later on. We have trees to save so please help!
