Growing Through Temptation and succeed
One of the problems in our lives today was sin, and it was caused by temptation. Most people after going through temptation they succeed, others are not. Temptation is something really interesting to you and you want to know more of it or experience it, but once you have done it, it will last only for a short time period and surely it will bring you suffering. The first temptation in this world was from the beginning in the Garden of Eden. Eve was told not to go to the tree but she disobeyed God, She was curious about what the serpent told her and ate the apple with Adam. They were happy for a short time period and God made them suffered for what they have done. It was all Satan’s trap to destroy us where ever we are and make us weak in our spiritual growth, but we were lucky enough to have God and He always there for us. He also uses temptations to test our faith in Him and be developed to overcome them.
All temptations give people a chance not to be suffered but to be better. When growing through temptation it gives us the rights to choose the good from the bad, but to know this, we have to understand the characters of Jesus and developed them in our lives and that was the fruit of the Holy Spirit. When we applied His characters, love, joy, peace, patience, goodness, kindness, gentleness, self control and faithfulness we would make right choices every time whenever we have come across temptations (warren, 2002, p.130). For me in Judaism by far the more impressive explanation is free will, God made Satan, he is not a rebellious angel. God created both good and evil. The Bible says so, in Isaiah 45:?God created the universe because God wanted to do good.? So there had to be people to receive that goodness. But God does not want to just give away good as a present. God wants people to appreciate it. Something you get for free you do not appreciate. And in fact, if you got something amazingly good for free, and you were allowed to enjoy it for all eternity, you would not appreciate it. If you didn't work for it, you don't deserve it. So G-d decided that people would have to work for it, and receive the ultimate goodness as a reward for hard work. People are tempted every day by their yetzer tov and yetzer horah, whether to do good or bad things, you need to overcome your yetzer horah to become a great person and receive reward in the afterlife. Say, for example, you have a desire to tell harmful gossip about someone.
...see from his statement, “Can else inflict, do I repent or change”. Rather than repenting, Satan continues to propose another plan for attack. Satan refuses to be the lower person, giving up his battle with God, and thus the thought of repenting does not even enter his mind. As Satan does not consider repentance to be an option, we also gain a sense of his stubborn nature. Satan’s refusal to repent also highlights his prideful nature, since it is his inner pride which does not allow him to consider repenting to be an option. Through Satan’s refusal to repent, we become reminded of ourselves and the times we have refused to submit ourselves to being guilty. Our human nature immediately discourages us from repenting and surrendering to the situation; Instead, we strive to attain the status of being the defeater and not the defeated, which is exactly what Satan is doing.
In Paradise Lost, one of the differences God is aware of the betrayal his creations unlike Frankenstein. There is a point where Adam desires a companion to share the world with, thus God creates Eve from one of Adam’s ribs. He is in a predicament now, due to there are now two beings to love now, but who deserves the more affection. He “can neither love himself adequately nor love Eve as himself unless have love God adequately – and so make his love for Eve, the unity of their shared self, an expression of that higher love” (Gross 95). This scene displays one of Adam’s limitations of his free will. Thus creating her in being the submissive which eventually became her downfall, Adam’s and the rest of humanity. Eve is flawed, she has the inclination of self-love, a quality she should not be capable of possessing or acting upon. The only love that she should be expressing is her love for Adam in a way also loving God. This becomes their weakness. Satan learns about this weakness and exploits it as his advantage to enact his scheme. He influences a susceptible Eve, by coercing her into eating the fruit from the tree of knowledge. He claims to Eve about the fruit “By the fruit? It gives you life To knowledge by the threat’ner? Look on me, Me, who have touched and tasted; yet both live” (Book 9 l. 686-688). In the beginning, God did not want anyone to be sinful. God created mankind in the image of himself. The purpose of humans is to maintain the Earth. He placed a man and woman into a tempt-full location. He commanded for them to not eat off the tree of forbidden fruit. However, a serpent inquired about what God had stated. After gaining that knowledge, the serpent tricked the woman, into eating the fruit, from the forbidden tree. The woman then persuaded the man, to also eat fruit, from the forbidden tree. God then checked up on the man and woman. He asked the man why he ate the fruit; the man had blamed the woman. God then asked the woman why she ate the forbidden fruit; the woman had blamed the serpent. God was angered and disappointed by Adam’s and Eve’s action that in return, He punished the serpent,

One might ask, What exactly are sins and where did they come from? According to Oxford Dictionary, a sin is an immoral act considered to be a transgression against divine law. Sin is what started the fall of humanity that is still manifested in today’s time. Adam was the first of God’s human creation. “So God created mankind in his own image, in the image of God he created them; male and female he created them” (Genesis 1:27). And the Lord God commanded the man, saying, “You may surely eat of every tree of the garden, but of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil you shall not eat, for in the day that you eat of it you shall surely die.” (Gen. 2:16–17). Sin entered the world when Adam disobeyed God and ate the forbidden fruit. “God gave to man the power of contrary choice. Man of his own will, by no external compulsion or determination, used that power in the commission of sin… ” (Reddit 10). The effects of Adam’s sin are profound and and they affect everyone. A few things that stand out in Reddit’s explanation of it is that “sin is lawless, universal and results in satanic bond”. Sin is lawless because its is breaking God’s divine law. “Everyone who makes a practice of sinning also practices lawlessness; sin is lawlessness” (1John 3:4). Man above woman, or woman above man? For the entirety of human civilization, this question of gender hierarchy has been divisive issue. Regardless, Milton does not hesitate to join the heat of the battle, and project his thoughts to the world. Since the publication of Paradise Lost, many of Milton’s readers have detected in his illustration of the prelapsarian couple, particularly of Adam, a powerful patriarchal sentiment: “he for God only, and she for God in him” (Milton, IV.299). In essence, this idea declares that Adam and Eve possess unequal roles – Adam is better than Eve, as men are better than women, in accordance to the deeply conventional reading of the relations between the sexes. Eve’s purpose for Adam makes her less spiritually pure and thus farther removed from God’s grace.
I feel that the is a big weakness in the Christian faith with the people who think that they pray to God once or twice and actually do not have a relationship with him and they think that just because they do this they will gain eternal life but yet they continue to keep on sinning. I understand that all people sin and ask for forgiveness but they actually do have a relationship with God. Another one is the ones that think they are holier than though and try to push their religion on you.

Satan is often referred to as the tempter, and at the root of every temptation is the power of persuasion. Temptation is so strong that it even led to the fall of humanity. In Genesis 3, Satan deceives the woman, Eve, by saying that “You will not surely die…For God know that when you eat of it your eyes will be opened and you will be like God, knowing good and evil.” And the rest is history. But, what’s important here is the fact that Satan offers her a reward. He says that if Eve eats the fruit, she will be like God. Eve falls into the trap of the first principle of persuasion: reward. Rewards surround our lives today like it surrounded Adam and Eve’s lives at the beginning of history. Today, we hold out the opportunity of a vacation for a salesman who sells enough of the company’s products. We promise candy to a four-year-old if he keeps quiet in the grocery store. We dangle an A before a student to get her to study harder. Rewards make us work harder, whether we want to admit it or not. Alfie Kohn disagrees and states, “when we are working for a reward, we do exactly what is necessary to get it and no more” (Kohn, 63). However, Kohn is flawed in his thinking. Think of what would happen if both teams who played in the Super Bowl got identical trophies ...

In the article by Eric Wargo gives insight about temptation, but not the general interpretation of temptation, but more about an individual 's willpower to hold out for certain things. Temptation is a part of everyday life and I 'm sure there is not a day that goes by where someone is not tempted to say,do or think something. Also he questions whether it can be strengthened or whether it is something greater than we think.Throughout the article he presents the notion that willpower is something that everyone possesses, but not everyone is capable of actually following through and as a result they lack willpower. Temptation can be defined as a strong urge to do something usually bad or resulting in a harmful effect. The deeper people get into the temptation the harder it is to get out. It can be compared to digging a hole with no ladder to get out, the deeper you dig the harder it will be to get out. This idea is seen in many pieces of text including the following poems. “A Poison Tree” by William Blake and “Do Not Go Gentle Into That Good Night” by Dylan Thomas, both convey the message that people must be able to fight temptation and control themselves in moments of great distress.
