The scarcity of the application of computer sciences in developing countries and its consequences kindled my desire to excel in this field. Growing up in Africa, I became enticed seeing the applications of computer science in the media. Its application extended to connect unrelated fields. Out of this contemplation, my interest in computing was conceived. I nurse the dream of applying various data management skills, and establishing rigid security system across the various constituting structures in the society to enhance the completion of operations. Studying computer science was therefore a passkey for me to be able to reach out to scientific and non-scientific areas of the society. My educational and career goals have therefore been shaped by a craving in interdisciplinary studies involving computer Science and other fields for an active involvement in diverse work areas, and especially in developing countries where the lack of data management is the cause of numerous chaos and greatly accounts for societal flaws.
Consequently, I engage in cross curricular projects towards developing elementary skills across fields to better relate them to computer sciences. Similarly, I chair several extracurricular activities involving diversity, social justice, cultural awareness and health issues. During these interdisciplinary explorations, I partake in various computer-related enterprises, from advertisement to leadership. As a computer science student, I am inquisitive about the extents of the application of computer science and its mechanics. These foster my interest in research on innovations on such mechanics to improve the application of this science.

After completing this degree, I hope to able to develop critical analysis and problem solving skills to approach and propose rewarding plans to diverse issues in the society. Although at this point I remain open to specificities regarding my intellectual involvements as a graduate, I have the strong need to direct most of these towards promoting the development of third world countries. Coming from one of such countries, I feel the need to give back to the community from where I hail, and that which contributed to my education, US.
The advancements that are rewarded with a higher degree of education will enable poverty-stricken families to a better way of living. Which will provide a higher income, medical insurance for health problems, better education, and better housing opportunities. This is another area that my studies will enhance my ability to work as a social worker.
As the future stores in Kinyasi’s plans, he graduates with Bachelor of Science in Computing Security this May recently. He continues his goal to receive the Master of Science and will graduate in the next May. After graduation, he plans to look for a job across the United States as he loves to travel around the new places. He wants to gain more experience through work for next few more years. When he satisfies his goal, he will return to Tanzania, to set up a business and use his skills to improve security. There are not many security companies and he wants to improve the security to prevent hack, threats, and virus risks. If the security plan does not work out, he plans to do entrepreneurship for farming (how to improve crop demands) or build better properties provided for deaf people.

The computing industry as a whole becomes more prosperous, exciting and attractive as an employment prospect each day. It spans a wide range of modern applications, as does my interest in the subject. I see computing science as a gateway into new realms of computing, where the highly challenging and demanding work may reap rewards of an equivalent level.
My plan after college is to become a Sociologist or a Social Worker. With a college degree in one of these areas, I hope to impact my community in various ways. First, with the knowledge obtained from college, I hope to counsel with young people who are on the verge of going astray. In today's society, there are so many negative factors that influence young people. I want to help them understand the importance of setting goals and striving to become productive citizens. I also want to give them a sense of hope that with perseverance, they can become great role models for other young people.
The biggest impact I have made to my community is through community service. Although I also participate in school clubs that fundraise to fight poverty in my neighborhood, I feel that through volunteering I have had a greater influence. I believe this as through my volunteer work as a teacher’s assistant in a confirmation class at my local parish, I have made a positive impact on the lives of the local youth.
Computers; they are a part of or in millions of homes; they are an intricate part of just about every if not all successful businesses, the government, and the military. Computers have become common place in today’s society and the lives of the people who live in it. They have crossed every national, racial, cultural, educational, and financial barrier, which consequently ushered in the information age. A computer is a programmable electronic device that can store, retrieve and process data, and they come in all shapes, and sizes. They can be used for and in just about anything. As stated before, they are used in just about every aspect of modern society. They are so fundamental to modern society that it would be disastrous to society without them. As stated before, there are many areas in modern society that are run by computers. They play an intricate part of millions of homes in the world. Office workers in business, government and the military may use them to write letters, keep rosters, create budgets, find information, manage projects, communicate with workers, and so on. They are used in education, medicine, music, law enforcement, and unfortunately crime. Because computers have become such a part of the world and how it operates, there is a tremendous responsibility for those who are in control of these computers and the vital information that they carry, to manage and protect them properly. This is management and protection is vital because any loss or damage could be disastrous for the affected entity. For example, a mistake or intentional alteration of a personal credit file could affect ones ability to buy a car or home, or can lead to legal actions against the affected person until the mistake or intentional alteration has been corrected. Therefore, with the advent of computers in the information age, and all of the intentional and unintentional violations against them, comes the need to safeguard them and the information they carry with strong systems and policies of computer security.

I intend to give back to the community by combining knowledge obtained from the study of Psychology with the leadership skills I have gained by working in a tutorial program into a wide scale program for underprivileged school children of my community.
Commitment to community is a requirement for contemporary Americans and vital to its survival. “Love thy neighbor as thyself” is the unselfish act of sharing: from a cup of sugar to a wealth of information to the guardianship of all children involved and the protection of every individual in that said community. Whether that community consists of the “Classic Neighborhood, those with a common set of goals, or those who share a common identity” the thread that holds this matrix together is always woven into the shared identity as well as responsibility of all involved. (Redmond, 2010). A community cannot continue to exist through the will of withdrawn individuals who arms only embrace themselves and have no involvement whatsoever with neighbors one door away.
A fascination for Science & Technology and keen interest in the ever-growing world of technology motivated me to take up engineering. The power of research and delivering it for the growth of Society is what makes me interested in the technology side of science. I choose to major Computer science Engineering with an intense urge to delve into this challenging field. During my under graduation program I learned the various fundamentals of Computer science Engineering which together with practical course works reinforced my interest.
I took up Computer Science and Engineering as my discipline in Bhoj Reddy Engineering College for Women affiliated to Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, one of the premier institutes in India. My undergraduate education has been a great learning and enriching process for me. It exposed me to all the core areas of Computer Science like operating systems, database management systems, networks and network security, data structures, algorithms and software engineering. These courses have given me a good foundation in the core concepts. My interest lies in Database Management, Programming Languages, Theory of Computation, and Software Engineering. I am fully acquainted with the fast growing subjects like Object Oriented Programming, Analysis and Design. On the other hand, the intensive laboratory classes exposed me to a fascinating world of experimentation. It was here that I discovered the qualities of perseverance and diligence in myself. I feel that these courses have done a lot to prepare me for my future studies and research work.
Computers and Technology have fascinated me right from my childhood and I have always had it in my mind to choose Information Technology for my engineering. As the years passed my eagerness grew and so did my thirst to attain higher education and now is the perfect time for me to ignite the spark in me. This has given me the courage to analyze the fact that I have a herculean task ahead in order to comprehend an extensive proportion of subject and enjoy it while assimilating the problems.
If the nineteenth century was an era of the Industrial revolution in Europe, I would say that computers and Information Technology have dominated since the twentieth century. The world today is a void without computers, be it healthcare, commerce or any other field, the industry won’t thrive without Information Technology and Computer Science. This ever-growing field of technology has aroused interest in me since my childhood. After my twelfth grade, the inherent ardor I held for Computer Science motivated me to do a bachelors degree in Information Technology. Programming and Math, a paragon of logic and reasoning, have always been my favorite subjects since childhood.
Computer technology not only has solved problems but also has created some, including a certain amount of culture shock as individuals attempt to deal with the new technology. A major role of computer science has been to alleviate such problems, mainly by making computer systems cheaper, faster, more reliable, easier to use.
