4G Technologies and Telemedicine

2021 Words5 Pages

In this paper, it gives description about 4G network, architecture and discuss about functions of each layer. It is evident that 4G technologies will expand on web-based communication around the world. 4G technology will allow for improved applications such as telemedicine that may save lives. It is a fully imp-based network and will improve data transfer dramatically. Signal disruptions will be minimal and downloads will be done in a matter of seconds, faster than ever before. Within few days 4G network may replace all existing 2G, 2.5G, 3G networks and it
Proposed attractive features such as very high data rate, global roaming, good quality of service,
More secure etc. 4G supports all IP based networks.
4G can be best described in one word “MAGIC” which stands for:
• Mobile multimedia
• Anytime Anywhere
• Global mobility support
• Integrated wireless and personalized services
Though 4G is facing challenges and problems we believe that future research will overcome
These challenges and integrate newly developed services 4G networks making them available to everyone, anytime, and everywhere.

1 Introduction
By looking back at the past few years we will easily identify that how the need of the
Wireless technology is observed? And how they make their place in the market? Because
Everyone demands a high speed wireless technology and also the easy access of internet over the mobile phones. To address this problem of the people a wireless technology was introduces
Named as wireless local area network (WLAN’s) but there are some problems one of the major
One is speed and bandwidth. No longer ago, a new immerging technology was introduced named as third generation (3G). Although, this technology is not even using in the whole wo...

12 Conclusion
LTE-advanced the back-ward compatible of LTE release 8 is fully specified in 3 GPP released 10. We have described its main technologies: orthogonal frequency division multiplexing, multiple input-multiple outputs, adaptive modulation and coding; and open broadband Wireless core. For each we have discussed what is it? What are the benefits and drawbacks of using this technology and how to tackle these problems but there are still some issues which can be handling through further research.
In addition to the elements that we have examined in this paper, it is also expected that the use of cells, self-organizing networks, and energy management systems will derive the evolution of current and future mobile wireless networks. (Ian F.Akydildiz, not mentioned)
