The movie “Finding Nemo” came out on May 30, 2003. The well-known characters of the film are Dory, Nemo, and Marlin. The setting of “Finding Nemo” is somewhere near Australia. “Finding Nemo” is a movie that explores the natural phobia of losing a loved one and the adventure of self-discovery that permits Marlin to overcome his phobias. In Bob Peterson’s “Finding Nemo”, the dynamic nature of Marlin’s character stresses the importance of individual growth for adults; through his experiences in the movie, Marlin goes from a cautious, paranoid, high strung, over protective clown fish to a more easygoing, adventurous but still loving dad.
The movie begins at the new home of the clown fishes named Marlin, Coral, and their yet to be born babies. Coral dies attempting to protect their eggs from some spiny-finned fish. It is truly heartbreaking that only one egg survives.
