Exotic animals are very hard to have as pets. No matter how much information the owner has about the animal, and they will never have enough to properly care for their pets. These animals are risks to the owners, the owners family and society if they ever get loose. The fear of one of these animals getting aggressive and lashing out; possibly killing their owner is heightened by their time pent in captivity. It is not recommended to have any of these animals as pets and to educate the future owners of these animals.
Monkeys
A baby monkey could be the closest living animal to a human baby. A future owner could possibly want a monkey because they are so similar to human infants. Both monkey and baby infants defecate unexpectedly and have tantrums. Monkeys and children have to wear diapers and they both get into everything. However, human babies have a moral conscience and eventually a child grows up; monkeys never do. Monkeys can hold tantrums for hours at a time without warning, and also have histories of biting their owners. They can transmit HEPA and HIV-1 through biting. The longer the primate stays in captivity the more at risk the owner's life because they get highly unpredictable and more aggressive.
The most popular monkey to have as a pet is a common marmoset. Since they cannot be separated from their families, and require very large enclosures both inside and outside. The marmoset needs to be fed a large variety of foods (fruits, vegetables, and live insects) during the day and if not they easily develop dietary related illnesses, which could lead to death. They can carry numerous diseases like internal parasites, and salmonella.
The second most popular monkey to have is a rhesus macaque. They are an invasive species...

...o keep up with the cost of feeding and entertaining a large cat. There basically has to be a butcher in the owners back yard because they can eat up to 50 pounds of meat a day. The owner has to mentally and physically a large cat for many hours of the day so it does not get bored and aggressive.
Wolves
Wolves are very independent, they eat, sleep, and play whenever they want to and are their own masters. They are too wild to live alongside humans because when they feel threatened, they attack. A full grown wolf can kill and full grown moose and it can sense the sickest animal in a herd without showing any symptoms. They can turn unnaturally aggressive or timid towards strangers, eve their owner. No matter how active the owner's lifestyle is, a wolf can run a minimum of 30 miles a day . They also consume a lot of raw meat throughout the day and need a balanced diet.
The second step shown in these monkey’s evolutionary progress is that now these animals appear to be goal oriented. Like mentioned previously, these monkeys had been working for themselves. They would do what ever they could to benefit themselves, get food, and have a nice place to sleep. Yet, once the changes begin and they have a leader, the monkeys begin to act as a group. They are more coordinated and it seems that their living style has changed from anarchy to monarchy. They attack a larger animal and kill it as a group. In turn, the raw meat is then split between the monkeys and everyone gets a share.
Primates housed in organizations like zoos and laboratories have developed catastrophic behavior; due to the lack of their natural habitat and the lose of freedom to pursue their own lives. Chimpanzees have directed themself to attempt abnormal and often revolting behavior. During their life in captivity they exibit biting themselves, drinking urine, eating feces, pating genitals, rocking, plucking hair, and fumpling niples (Birkett and Newton-Fisher). Another factor that gives chimpanzees
This information reveals that the problems the gorillas face have been addressed and formally recognized. It exposes our blatant ignorance, and mans corruption of the gorilla’s land that has made these apes so scarce in numbers. The information also shows that these are not violent or confrontational creatures. In fact, they avoid human activity altogether. Although we have tried implementing laws to protect them, encroachment laws are only slowing a critical problem, rather than insuring the apes repopulation (De Vere et al.,
Thesis Statement: Despite the rampant protests of animal welfare organizations on encaging primates in zoos since primates typically show abnormal behavior, zoos in the National Capital Region claim that human interaction and enrichment programs help alleviate the stress and trauma primates experience.
Besides, if wolves were truly as dangerous as people make them out to be, they wouldn't be so popular as pets; same with coyotes and fox. And, despite the rhetoric of "the wild animal will take over, and it will turn on you," personal experience with the latter two proved quite the contrary; both were loving, loyal and gentle. Furthermore, as far as livestock is concerned, a pack of unkept dogs can do just as much damage, if not more, than any wild animal.
Do you think that keeping exotic animals as pets should be legal? Well, I think that owning exotic animals as pets should be illegal. First, safety is a main concern for both the animals and for people. Secondly, it cost a very large amount of money to properly care for these animals; money people usually don’t have by themselves. Finally, it is against the law in many places to own these animals. Exotic animals should not be kept as pets.
Sometimes they even hunt moose. Their sense of smell is superior. Wolves hunt in packs all male to be exact. Wolf packs are mostly led by the parents of the wolves and some other wolves with the parent wolf to join their pack for hunting and killing their prey. The Gray Wolf can also run as fast as 31 - 37 MPH which makes them really good hunters. And they have been seen viciously attacking people. Unlike some animals wolves don’t hibernate so they have to hunt all year. Wolves also tend to mate in the early spring as well. Then before you know it the female wolf has babies some time during the winter, and their babies also have to eat.
From chimpanzees to capuchins to lemurs to marmosets, primates of all sizes are kept as pets worldwide. But even they are cute as babys they still grow up , and some are more powerfull than human! So the But the question looms: do they actually make good pets? Primates require professional, well-managed care. They are susceptible to both transmitting diseases to humans and contracting diseases from humans. People considering private ownership of primates should seek professional advice before making their decision. As monkeys mature, so do their motivations. Primates have been known to suffer intense psychological maladies, quite similar to ours. Prisoners become terminally depressed because they are kept in dark, sun-deprived quarters with minimal human interaction. Primates like her are highly social animals that require group

In El Salvador, there are only 3 percent remaining natural forest and has the smallest amount of protection areas. The subspecies of monkeys are limited to the mainland of Costa Rica and Nicaragua. Endangered due to logging and burning of the rainforests. They are hunted for food and pet trade by most humans and other jungle animals. Justin Bieber, Duck Dynasty, Breaking Bad, Gravity, and — yes — even Miley Cyrus twerking are all examples of what monkeys eat. Some good, some bad, some completely baffling. But all things that are making their way into a lot of people's thinking, and provoking all kinds of conversations that we might not have otherwise.
...ur is dependent upon its mother for only a few months after its birth, while an ape is dependent for four or five years. A chimpanzee infant cannot survive if its mother dies before it reaches the age of 4 at the very least.” I understood this when I witnessed the close bond between Ramona and her newborn. Seeing their affinity for each other reminded me that humans are also very well attached to young ones who are new to this world. This makes sense because after all, chimpanzees are our closest living relatives!
However, there are ways to correct the issues with the present system. If all 50 states and other countries around the world were to institute stricter regulations, such as those mentioned above, it would help make owning exotics safer. Animals like lions and puff adders have no place being in anyone’s home, but other animals like ball pythons and leopard geckos are reasonable. The most important thing that the authorities can do to help regulate the exotic pet trade and reduce the potential damage caused by it, is to educate the public. It is essential that people be involved in and aware of decisions that are being made. Especially decisions that concern their safety and that of the world around
So even though it is rare for them to attack, doesn’t mean it could happen to your exotic animal. Also, you need a lot of money and space to take care of that exotic animal that you probably don’t have.
