In all parts of the the world both past and present, mankind searches for the answers how earth and its complex life forms came to be. Over the years there have been many theories that have surfaced, but the one most popular is the evolution theory. Evolution is taught now in science classrooms all over the world, the concepts based on charles darwin’s theory regarding evolution and natural selection. The science community has accepted evolution has how the earth came into form. however since no one present when the earth was created no one knows for sure, but there is one theory that explains how, why, and when, and that is creation. That there is a supreme force: God.
Neil A. Campbell, Phd in plant biology from the University of California, and Jane B. Reece, phD in bacteriology who is also from the University of California. They and their colleagues discuss the theory of evolution in length in their textbook Biology.
In the textbook they discuss charles Darwin, who was an english naturalist who persuade his life to studying the origins of earth and all of its complex life.Darwin is known as the father of evolution. “He journeyed to the galapagos island in the pacific ocean, on the H.M.S Beagle. Here is where he studied the adaptation of different plants and animals” (qtd in campbell et al. 441). At the conclusion of his trip he returned home and wrote his book On the Origin of species. By Mean of Natural Selection or the Preservation of Favoured in the Struggle for Life (campbell et al. 441).
According to Campbell natural selection is the driving force behind the evolution theory. Over time natural selection can force more and more species to adapt to the environment changing as well. Evolutionist believe that all the species ...

Evolution violates this fundamental premise as it cannot be directly observed or repeated.
Evolutionists contend that genetic variation brought about by natural selection is observable proof for evolution. However, this is a post-hoc fallacy. Such variation only proves that there is variation among species. It does not show that new genes or information was formed. No species has been observed changing into another, currently or in the fossil record. Certainly, organisms adapt through microevolution, but this does not mean that they will eventually become a separate species. Although scientists claim to find proof of evolution in both homology and the fossil record, counter evidence has surfaced, leading scientists to research irreducible complexity and its significance in the evolution debate. For this reason, evolution remains only a theory.

Any inherited, genetic change in a population which takes place over several generations is defined as Biological evolution. Darwin and Lamarck have contributed majorly to the evolutionary theory. Although Lamarck’s theory was unsupported, he probably provided inspiration to Darwin and many other enthused scientists.
Evolution, also known as descent with modification, is a phrase Darwin used in proposing the evolution of Earth’s many species. Charles Darwin noticed that the descendants of ancestral species were different from the present day forms of species. Darwinism is a theory of biological evolution developed by Charles Darwin who was an English naturalist. He expounded the theory of evolution in his book of the Origin Species in 1859. He expresses that all types of organisms emerge and develop through natural selection, small, acquired traits that expands the individuals of capacity, survival, and reproduction. In this book, Darwin theorized that animals and plants evolve and develop with the aid of the creator through the process of natural selection.
Evolution is described, as being the change that occurs on a genetic level when a new generation spouts from an ancestral population. Change is destined to happen. That is why in the science of biology the word evolution means descent with modification. Through various factors such as the temperature of the environment, humidity, and altitude a species will adapt to survive and will eventually pass on genetic traits that help the species next generation survive.

After Sir Charles Darwin had introduced his original theory about the origins of species and evolution, humanity’s faith in God that remained undisputed for hundreds of years had reeled. The former unity fractured into the evolutionists, who believed that life as we see it today had developed from smaller and more primitive organisms, and creationists, who kept believing that life in all its diversity was created by a higher entity. Each side introduced substantial arguments to support their claims, but at the same time the counter-arguments of each opponent are also credible. Therefore, the debates between the evolutionists and the creationists seem to be far from ending. And though their arguments are completely opposite, they can co-exist or even complement each other.
The theory of evolution, as set forth by Charles Darwin in 1859, stated that all plant and animal life evolved over long periods of time from simple to more complicated forms through mutation and adaptation. He also taught that only the fittest of each species would survive. He further postulated that the first living cell evolved in a "warm warm little pond" and that it took billions of years for the present diversity of living things to evolve. At the time, it was thought that the few "missing links" in the fossil record would be soon filled.(Darwin, 1927 ). Today, however, there is today a considerable body of scientific evidence that refutes this entire theory.
The thought of evolution is filled with theories, ideas and beliefs. The definition of evolution is rather simple. According to Jerry A. Coyle, evolution is “the change in the inherited characteristics of biological populations over successive generations (2). Evolution gives rise to diversity when it comes to the hierarchy of life otherwise known as biological organization. Many people find the topic of evolution to be troubling and very confusing. Throughout history churches have preached that evolution is atheistic and a sin if even thought about. Famous scientist, Charles Darwin, is said to really be the first to formulate debated theory of evolution by the means of natural selection. Eventually in the 20th century genetics was compounded with Charles Darwin’s theories of evolution. Even today scientists continue to study different aspects of the theory of evolution.
First, fossils of organisms and their ancestors differ in order to fit the needs to survive, which explains evolution by showing that their skeletons change over a long or short period of time; this is similar to the definition provided by Dictionary.com. Two primary examples of fossil evidence would be shown through the whale skeletons throughout the centuries and ancient lizard fossil. The skeletons of whales have changed over time, from fossils showing that whales once had four limbs and were capable of walking on land. The modern whale skeleton has bones on the lower back, which are limb remnants of its prehistoric ancestor. The whale was not the only animal that lost its limbs; according to National Geographic, a 95 million year old fossil of a lizard with miniscule legs may be the ancient ancestor of the snake. The vestigial limbs show that the lizard was closer to evolving into the snake. In short, the changes of fossils which belong to the snakes and its predecessors show variations that allows one to believe that evolution had occurred.
Anyone with even a moderate background in science has heard of Charles Darwin and his theory of evolution. Since the publishing of his book On the Origin of Species by Means of Natural Selection in 1859, Darwin’s ideas have been debated by everyone from scientists to theologians to ordinary lay-people. Today, though there is still severe opposition, evolution is regarded as fact by most of the scientific community and Darwin’s book remains one of the most influential ever written.
The evolutionary theory is the concept that species evolve over time through the mechanism of natural selection of survival and reproduction. Natural selection means acting on the assumption that various living organisms were produced by genetic diversity and mutation. The evolution theory may also be referred to as the philosophizing science. This theory states that all phenomena are derived from natural causes and can be explained by scientific laws without reference to a plan or purpose.
Charles Darwin in his book, On the Origin of Species, presents us with a theory of natural selection. This theory is his attempt at an explanation on how the world and its' species came to be the way that we know them now. Darwin writes on how through a process of millions of years, through the effects of man and the effects of nature, species have had an ongoing trial and error experiment. It is through these trials that the natural world has developed beneficial anomalies that at times seem too great to be the work of chance.
The evolution theory, one of the most significant theories, laid groundwork for the study of modern biological science. This theory has lead scientists into unending debates due to lack of empirical supports. Until the mid-eighteenth century, when Charles Darwin came up with an explanation to evolution, scientists, then, began to endorse this hypothesis. In “Natural Selection,” Darwin explains the natural selection, a plausible mechanism that causes evolution, to gain approval of his cynical audience for his evolution theory. He supports his claim with numerous examples of animals and plants that have developed traits beneficial for survival. A century later, Stephen Jay Gould, influenced by Darwin’s work, supports the evolution theory with a different method. In “Evolution as Fact and Theory,” Gould, in contrast to Darwin, criticizes his detractors, the creationists who believe that every life form is the creation of a supernatural being, to reinforce the validity of the evolution theory. Gould undermines creationism by emphasizing its misused concepts of theory and popular philosophy, proving that it is not science. Besides denouncing creationism, Gould also provides theoretical examples as evidence to prove evolution is a theory. Despite their different approaches, both Darwin and Gould effectively prove the existence of evolution.
Evolution is defined as the change of hereditary characteristics of populations over generations (Caroll, 2009). The environment is continually changing therefore organisms have to change in order to stand the changes in environment so they can survive and reproduce (Caroll, 2009). Regular change in genetic material of organisms over generations can lead to the development of new species that are more adapted to the environment (Caroll, 2009). It is said that failure to evolve may lead to extinction of a species (Caroll, 2009).
Evolution is the scientific theory of the development of living organisms during their period on earth. The theory takes into consideration the biological processes of natural selection, mutation, symbiosis, gene transfer and genetic drift.
