Introduction:
I know the majority of you in the class have seen a customized vehicle driving on the streets. But how many of you actually know what it takes to create a custom car/truck? My guess is not too many of you. It takes an enormous amount of patience and time. It just does not happen over the course of one night. There is an extensive amount of money involved in customizing a car. Last but not least it takes careful thought and consideration on planning on what is going to be done to the vehicle.
I. To customize a car it takes weeks, months, and in many situations it may take years. It is a very long and pain-staking process where you witness your car being torn up into a bunch of pieces then carefully re-assembled. If patience isn't one of your virtues then I would not suggest customizing your vehicle. Along with the time consumption there is also a very sufficient amount of money being poured into customized cars. *Show visual of the process in which the truck is being worked on.
II. As we all know money makes the world go round. Money is the one thing that can limit how much you are capable of doing to the vehicle. It is said that if you are to have a truly customized, show quality, car/truck that you are going to be spending in the neighborhood of 10,000 to 15,000 dollars. I know of people who have spent 250,000 dollars on just one truck. There are practically no limits on what can be don to a vehicle as far as customization. All it takes is a big imagination.
III. If you go up to a custom car nut I guarantee that they have a huge imagination. It takes a lot of thought to come up with some of the ideas that have been created. If you go to a car, truck, hot rod, or even motorcycle show you will see a number of vast ideas of the owner that were transformed into the actual vehicle. In the world of custom vehicles the sky is the limit as well as how fat your wallet is.

We journey through her freshman year and watch her suffer to find her lost voice and overcome her negative convictions . While her persona is revealed, we see that the rape forces change on Melinda through violence. Several months of self mutilation and bitter silence, she finally speaks up for herself and confronts her antagonist. Melinda's introspection through her art allows growth and she becomes a survivor. Her recovery nonetheless was tough and protracted.

Speak, by Laurie Halse Anderson, is first-person narrative about overcoming our habits and misfortunes. It takes place at Merryweather High over the course of a year. The main character, Melinda, is a fourteen year-old, who is just starting high school. She is introduced, at first, as someone who doesn’t speak to anyone, almost, at all. All the other people in the high school seem to detest her. They say hateful things to her and throw objects at her. She seems not bothered by any of this. She is in her own being.

Still the automobile still had numerous problems and were mainly in the hands of the rich. It was the development of the internal combustion engine and the assembly line that was truly able to create a practical vehicle that could be used by all and propelled the automobile into the heart of American culture and made it one of the most significant inventions of the post-industrial revolution era, resulting in a complete revolution of society.

In order to have a fast and efficient car all these things I have discussed need to be taken into consideration. A fast car should be designed with aerodynamic surfaces for a balance of maximum production of downforce and minimum drag creating surfaces. It should have as small an engine as possible to reduce mass and reduce the necessary size of the frontal area, but a large enough engine to be able to produce enough horsepower to be able to create more force than the resistance the car faces to accelerate and enough to balance with those forces at high speeds. The tires should be wide enough for fast acceleration and good cornering but not so wide it creates large amounts of rolling resistance. Your overall best example of such a car would be formula one races or Indy cars because they have to have good handling, fast acceleration and reach and maintain high speeds.
