Recommended: An essay on volunteering

Volunteering is truly an amazing experience that I recommend each individual to do in their life during their spare time because it could benefit you with developing new skills and help others in their life. So far in my high school career, I have volunteered for many different organizations and some of those organizations helped other people. I have enjoyed volunteering very much and the ones that have changed my life and helped me become the person who I am right now are volunteering at the Longmont Public Library, St.vrain Habitat for Humanity, and packing food for homeless people at my church. I thoroughly enjoyed volunteering at the Longmont Public Library; at the library I helped kids with crafts, helped the librarians put the book back in their original shelves, and also read books to kids. Through helping kids with crafts I learned how to interact with people of different ages. This activity helped me increase my patience because kids are kids; they ask a lot of questions and also a lot of help.
