Title: Human Trafficking
Most young girls live happy and fulfilled lives while other don’t exactly get that luxury. Girls all around the world are being taken form the places they know best and sold into human trafficking without so much as a choice. In a blink of an eye their whole world is turned upside down just so someone can make a profit off of them. Human trafficking is often unnoticed, but is one of the biggest issues facing the world today.
These three girls in Africa named Norest Maruma, Marget Nyamande, and Lorriana Nhapat were granted bail as they escape from the jaws of human trafficking. The court charged them with “eight counts of contravling” which is in “some sections of …show more content…

Human trafficking goes unnoticed in the world because the organizations keep what they are doing on the low. “Most of these girls that end up in human trafficking are tricked into it” (Rwirahira six). Many of these girls were used as slaves, maids, and destitute causal labors. It’s not like the girls wanted to be human trafficked or be dragged into this. Police say that the human traffickers will offer them fake promises like they’ll get scholarships or great jobs. When girls hear this they get excited and go meet with them. This when the girls usually get abducted and are brought into a human trafficking organization. This is not such a big problem in America then it is in other parts of the world. “There is still lack of human trafficking awareness among the population” (Rwirahira one). If there is a better understanding of human trafficking so people will know about it. The more people know about this we can all find a way to solve this problem. Already today countries have made borders tighter to catch smugglers that try to bring in sex slaves. With all that has been done so far the sex slave cases have dropped from fifty-one to thirty-two in June this year. For the people that are caught doing this crime they can face up ten to fifteen years or possibly life. Along with facing all these charges they would have to pay a twenty million dollar fine. Once there is more awareness this wouldn’t be such a big problem in the world
