Have you ever fell in love with a book just by reading the first few pages? I just so happened to with the book titled Wrecked by E.R. Frank. The publication date was September 27, 2005. In my opinion the book Wrecked is a very pleasant read. My opinion on this book is that it was very well written, it was easy to read, and had a terrific background story. This book has many different settings. The main setting of this book would be described as a small town. In this small town, it is very similar to Norton, Virginia. It is similar to Norton because everybody knows everyone and everyone knows about all the gossip right after it happens. The other settings include the party where Anna and Ellen drank before driving drunk. The crash site would be a significant setting in my opinion because it is where the most tragic event happened. The most important main characters in my opinion would be Jack, Ellen, Cameron, and most importantly Anna. Jack is Anna’s older brother, who had been dating Cameron for a few months until the accident. Ellen is Anna’s best friend who was in the accident with her. Cameron was coming towards Anna and Ellen on the opposite side of the road. Cameron tried to dodge a tree branch that was lying in the middle of the road. In the process of doing that, she hit Anna and Ellen head on. Ellen was completely passed out, and all Anna heard was screams, getting softer until they just quit. The screams were Cameron until she died. Anna is definitely the ultimate main character in my eyes. This book went on to explain how Anna went on with her life, knowing she technically killed someone. Anna had a rough time between night sweats, night terrors, and the screams in her head repeating.
