INTRO during world war one there was several successful technologies used, but there was also several that failed. technology was a key in world war one and without it the soldiers involved in the war would of been unsuccessful in battle. There was not much technology available when world war one took place but the technology they had was extremely important. Technology that made the greatest significance was rifles, barbed wire,machine guns,aircrafts and many more devices yet it did come with unsuccessful technologies as well which did harm the troops in battle. technology played a big role in dictating in ww1 because military leaders were extremely slow to adapt to the “modern” technology and weapons therefore led to death of millions of soldiers.due to the modern technology and weapons made war more complex than ever before.The destruction of the new technologies and weapons from world war 1 left …show more content…

Military leaders thought it would bee a good idea to preemptively bomb an enemy position for hours however things started to change and the military leaders became a lot smarter in the way they could plan there tactics, with more communication and advanced technology arms started adopting to “creeping barrages.” which was an extremely smart tactic as this than designed a shield to protected there group for the attackers. They had to cut through belts of barbed wire before they could use rifles, bayonets, pistols, and hand grenades to capture enemy positions which took days to realise that this was a stragitgical tactic with the technology used in world war
