Organization: Lawyers of the Future Subject: Workplace Policy on Body Piercings, Tattoos, and Appearances Body Piercings (other than ear): Body piercings would not be allowed in the workspace because it does not professionalism. The Only exception is on “Casual Days” Body Piercings (for the ear): To show professionalism, Both Males and Females are not allowed to have double piercings or cartilage piercings Body Piercings (Business Professional Court): Body Piercings of any kind would not be allowed in court besides Females but ONLY diamond or pearl studs. Also no wearing of chains Body Piercings (Casual): Body Piercings is only allowed on the ear but Males are only allowed to have a single piercings in. Tattoos on the face, ear, head, hands, feet is not allowed. If the Tattoo is on the leg or arm it must be covered completely besides “Casual Days”. Tattoos (Court Days): Tattoos must never be seen by the judge, jury, or the audience. Tattoos (Casual Days): Tattoos are allowed to be seen to an extent. Arms and leg tattoos do not have to be completely covered by the clothing Hair (Office Days including “Casual Days”): All Female’s Hair is allowed to be down but it must be neat. Also there will not be any objects stuck to the hair. It needs to be well taken care of. Male’s hair must be clean and well groomed Hair (Court Days): Female’s hair must be up and professional looking. Males must have a professional appearance when its court dates. If they have dreads it must be up or braided to look professional for the Judge, jury, or audience Facial Hair: Male or Female’s facial hair must have a professional look. The beard/ mustache must not exceed the width of the ears and bigger than 3 cm from the face to the end of the facial hair Nails (Office Days and “Casual Days”): Male nails must be groomed and presentable.
