With the change of the society from the primitive period to technological globalized world, people tend to believe that men and women have the equal rights in workplace or domestic life. But it does not happen so. Women have always been the second class to the man because of the inequality in wages, workplace and domestic life. Women movement started after the late 19th century and early 20th century but the involvement of women in the political events in the past goes far beyond the history. Most of the chronological event of the history is written in the male’s perspective. That’s why feminist historians tend to focus only women in women’s history. What is Women’s history? Many people will state that it is the study about the role of the women in the history. But is the explanation enough to explain the role, their emotion, desire of women. John Scott states that women history is important to make women the focus of inquiry, a subject of history, an agent who can be the narrative of the political event in the history like French Revolution, World War I, World War II, political movement like socialism, feminism, women’s suffrage and role in the social change like industrialization capitalism, globalization etc. Women’s history emerged in 70’s to construct women’s as the historical subject and to aware women about the historical significance of women in the history. It is to aware and make the platform for the women of the present and the future generation to participate in the women’s movement and demand the equality. Women’s history challenges the narratives politics of history and isolates women topics of history. Women’s history states that women’s world is rituals and men’s world is politics. Gender historians states that language construct as subject .There is certain hierarchy when speaking in gender, little children knows how to speak when they are three or four, boys speak roughly whereas girls speak politely. Girls learn to play with Barbie and feminist toys whereas boys learn to play with more masculine toys like cars, Robert. They are not taught or forced to play but their nature makes them to be attracted towards it. These are some of the social differences of gender in the society.
