Is it Really Necessary for Seatbelts to be Required? Do you ever see on the News how people die from a wreck? Well some of those deaths are actually caused by the seatbelts, that's right people all the time suffer with internal injuries from a wreck which if you didn't know it can even be caused from your seatbelts. There is more to why people don't wear seatbelts than just that they are “ too cool”, one of their reason could be that seat belts are too dangerous and others may be the seatbelt law violates the citizens rights.

For example, one of the reasons why the law should not require the society to wear a seatbelt is because as Joseph Trillo says "There are 30,000 people that have been killed with seat belts, where they've gotten into accidents, the cars were on fire, they've been knocked out, they haven't been able to get out of the vehicle," he said. Orenstein says “more than 15,000 lives are saved each year in the United States because drivers and their passengers were wearing seat belts when they were in accidents.” yes this is true in some cases seatbelts can save lives, and even the staff of the Automotive fleet say seat belts help you from getting thrown forward. This is agreeable because they do prevent you from being thrown forward but seat belts can still throw you forward a little. Also, they again come out and say that a seat belt helps to keep you in a car. Well although that is true it's not always a good thing, because sometimes the top of the car gets crushed and so then the person inside the car gets crushed if they were ejected out of the window sure they would be injured but they could still have a chance to live opposed to being
