. Which jobs are paid more or less? Is this what you would have expected? Why or why not? What factors could explain the differences in the salaries?
Yes, jobs have different salaries. For instance, a supply Operations Manager makes more than just a manager. The differences are not only based on experience but also, depending on the experience and roles and responsibilities. Some of the positions offer excellent perks with bonuses as well as certain additional benefits such as car, house, etc. However, there were positions that offered less in terms of compensation due to experience and /or the stipulated roles and responsibilities asked to perform by the worker.
For instance, the median salary for an Operations Manager is $88,345. The median salary for a Logistics Manager is $93,678. The median salary for a Distribution Manager is $81,786. The median salary for a Distribution Center Manager is $89,347. The positions were classified by salary in the following order: 1st Logistics Manager, 2nd Distribution Center Manager, 3rd Operations Manager and 4th Distribution Manager.
