All gods and goddesses have an importance in greek history. Lots of stories about gods and goddesses tie into the modern day today. Romulus is one of the greatest war gods and is the one who has given us the ideas of war history. Romulus is the brother of Remus. They were the children of mars also known as Hercules and Rhea silvia. Mars had passed on his traits to his kids and Romulus got the power mostly. Rhea silvia was not the birthmother of the boys but did raise them and was Hercules other wife. When the boys were young they we sent to live with their great uncle. When the uncle wanted to rule the kingdom for his own and not pass it on to the sons he threw them into a river to drown. As they were rushing down the river a wolf saw them as a meal and pulled them out of the water. As they aged and came to their stage of being 5-10 years of age they were found playing near a river by a shepherd and he took them into his care. His wife was overly thrilled that her husband had brought home boys. She had already had children but wanted more and for that she was happy. The boys grew up with them and learned to speak. When the boys hit their teen ages they had visions that were given to them by Rhea as she watched over them. Soon one day the boys told their adoptive parents about what they had been told and found out about themselves. After the boys said their goodbyes and thanks to them they set out to find their great uncle. Once they found the kingdom their uncle had been running they began to fill with guilt for what he was doing to the kingdom.
