What is Justice? Justice can mean many things,but in this situation it means a fair treatment or a punishment for someone's actions they choose to make. The Hammurabi Code was made by the one and only Hammurabi!Hammurabi finished to Code of Laws after his 38th year of his rule.The code has 282 laws on it.He made the Code of Laws in Babylonian and he made it because the god (Shamash) told him to and he did it because so “the strong might not injure the weak,in order to protect the Widows and Orphans.Hammurabi's Code was mostly unfair because they treated the people and animals unfairly. There are many facts that support that Hammurabi's code was unfair but we don't have all day so i will be telling you only three. First, one quote from the law is in Law 25 it says If fire break out in a house, and someone who comes to put it out cast his eye upon the property of the owner of the house, and take the property of the master of the house, he shall be thrown into that self-same fire.” It means that if someone goes and helps someone else in a fire, and takes something from their property, they will be thrown into the same fire they tried to put out.This shows that Hammurabi's code was unfair because if someone tries to help you in a fire and they risk their …show more content…
