The state I call home is Florida. Florida is a unique place to live because of its rich history, environment, and location. Just by looking at Florida on a map, you can see its uniqueness right away.
Florida is located in the Western Hemisphere. It has two parts, the panhandle, which stretches west to Alabama and the Peninsula which extends south towards Cuba. Florida is surrounded by water, the Gulf of Mexico on the western side and the Atlantic Oceans on the Eastern side. Florida has a diverse ecosystem offering many natural resources and creatures.
