When I am out of college and finished with all of my education, I would like to become a Marine Biologist. I knew I wanted to be a around a scenic job when I was in middle school. I am so fascinated with what is underneath the water and all the marine life that lives in it. Ever since middle school, I have been looking into different jobs that work around the ocean that do lab work and in the field. When I came upon a Marine Biologist, I thought it would be an interesting job to pursue. As of 2012, there are 90 employed Marine Biologist. In 2022, it is said to grow by 5%. Other jobs that are related to this type of career is a Zoologist or Wildlife Biologist. There are 22,000 employees as of 2016 for those two closely related jobs. A median salary of a Marine Biologist could range from $50,000 to $70,000 dollars. These jobs are most likely found near coastal areas due to researching in the ocean. …show more content…

There are more specific duties that they are involved with also. Determining how many species are living within the area, how they are born; features, structure, etc., find the causes and effect of the environment, give evidence to publishers, be able to research, do reports, investigate the findings and be able to do lab work for the experiments. With those duties, you be working different types of hours or shifts. Field and lab work could easily change your working hours, if they do not, then your would work regular hours of 10am to
