The title “Vitamins Cause Crime” is incorrect. A positive correlation between taking vitamins and crime rates means that if the number of vitamins a person takes goes down, crime would go down and if the number of vitamins taken increased, the rate of crime would also increase. Although a study has found a significant positive correlation, it is important to not confuse correlation and causation. A correlation between taking vitamins and an increase in crime rates can exist, but that does not necessarily mean that taking vitamins causes people to commit crimes. One important factor to consider when claiming if a correlation exist is if the experiment has validity, reliability and can be replicated. The article published was based on one experiment
