President. According to the Merriam Webster dictionary, a president is an official chosen to preside over a meeting or assembly. To me, a president is a leader who is open-minded, does not let self-pride stand in the way of completing their duties assigned to him/her, and is willing to do what is better for the majority, even if it goes against their personal opinion. Why do I want to be President? I want to be president for one reason; to improve the overall environment and experience at Dealey. In order to enhance the overall experience and environment at Dealey, I will strive to upgrade the restroom (for both genders), plan better dances, and hold more fundraisers for the school.
