“Education is the most powerful weapon to change the world” a quote from Mandela Nelson. Everyday choices will define my fate and a majority of them is about my academics or sports, and I hope my choices will lead me to college. I believe college is very important to become successful and is the worth the hard work.

First of all college is worth it because you have a higher chance of getting paid more or getting a higher quality job. According to the article “Is college worth it” about 50% of college graduates get a higher paid job and 20% didn’t get a college degree. College graduates make 1.3 million more than people with a high school diploma. The salary on average for high school dropouts make $18,734 and for high school graduates is $27,915. If money is a problem then you would have to work really hard for a scholarship. You would have to be dedicated and be willing to put in a lot of time to succeed in sports. Playing sports in high school and college will benefit you in many ways. Such as education, in order to play sports then you have to maintain a good gpa. Sports motivate me to do well in school and as well with many athletes. When you're in college, if you really good you can play professional and make a living out of that, then you can continue what you love. Conversely, the internet holds all the information you learn in college and more. Why would you need to pay thousands of dollars for some free information? One word, Interconnection. You can't physically connect with someone through a screen. College is where you learn and connect with people, where you're opinion is tested and where it will force you to think about the conflict.
