In today’s world violence and crime are everywhere. Crime is particularly bad in the United States. All these different crimes like robberies, assaults, school shootings, murders need to be slowed down and these are not the only crimes being committed. There are many different ways to try and deter crime. One of these ways is having a concealed carry license. A concealed carry license allows a person to carry a gun in public. Concealed carries are a very controversial topic because of the risk firearms cause. Concealed carries should not be legal in the United States because they could cause more danger and these guns could end up in the hands of criminals. Even though having a concealed carry sounds like a great way to defend yourself they may make things worse. If criminals know that a lot more people are carrying guns they are going to carry guns more themselves. This would cause a lot more gun fights and deaths in the cities and states. This will also make police officers jobs a lot more dangerous than they already are. Police officers will have to use their guns more and a lot more police officers will be getting shot/shot at.
