“Boston Massacre” is a phrase that most likely brings images of pain and terror to mind. The pressing question of the matter, is really who is responsible for the Boston Massacre? The British were responsible for the Boston Massacre for many clear reasons including, they are the only ones that did any of the actual murdering, and their unjust rules and treatment are what initiated the fight. The word massacre means to deliberately and violently kill a large number of people. This describes the British actions towards the colonists. The colonists themselves never had any real weapons, and never actually killed, or initiated the killing of anyone.
