Recommended: Summary of rocky movies

A very motivating movie that had you wanting to watch the next. Rocky is a very motivating movie with an amateur boxer having a once in a lifetime opportunity to fight the world heavyweight champion for the title. This movie conveys the life of rocky (Sylvester Stallone), living in a tough neighborhood in Philadelphia. His friends accompany him as he goes on his journey to fight the heavyweight champion.

Rocky is an amateur boxer who lives in the tough streets of Philadelphia. Living his normal life, he gets chosen to fight the world heavyweight champion out of every single boxer in the world. He takes on a tough regimen of training to prepare himself for the fight. The movie shows him putting in a lot of effort into his training and also it shows how he got his girlfriend, Adrian Pennino (Talia Shire). Also his friend and his girlfriend's brother, Paulie Pennino helps him out by giving him a place to train even though throughout the movie he seems like he is a drunk and selfish. Mickey Goldmill (Burgess Meredith) wants to becomes Rocky's trainer after an unfortunate plan of events take place at his gym.

The movie is based on the coming up of rocky form amateur boxing to challenging a true heavyweight fighter. Sylvester Stalone was the best choice in my opinion to play the role of the main character, he played his part so well that he is known as a …show more content…

I think everyone's favorite part would be when the classic rocky motivation song comes on while he runs through the streets of Philadelphia. He takes on a hard regimen of training and in the meanwhile he has interviews and a lot of people start to know his name as he runs through the streets. Also I didn’t enjoy how Paulie was kind of a drunk and jealous, I feel like there was no need and it didn’t add anything to the movie.
