In the story “into the wild” by Jon Krakauer published in 1996. He has written a story about a young man name Chris McCandless who later changed his name into Alex, While traveling to alaska. In the story it talks about the “Crazy” Ideas that Chris had planned while on his was to alaska as well as meeting and experiencing things he did not expirence while growing up. Shaun Callarman is a man that believes that chris is crazy and “Had no business going into Alaska with his Romantic Silliness”. However on the other had I think that Chris is Not Crazy whatsoever.

I do not agree with Shaun Callarman that Chris McCandless is crazy due to the fact that In Chapter 1 it talked about how Gallien who was a union electrician thought that chris was crazy at first but “ the more they talked, the less Alex struck Gallien as a nutcase” (pg 5). It takes a couple of conversations to know the basics of someone's mindset instead of basing it off the first impression. That is why in Chapter 6 It states how Chris was able to leave an “ Indelible impression on a number of people during the course of his hegira, Most of whom spent only a few days in his company, a week or two at most” (Pg 48). Some people will say In Chapter 2 that Chris is crazy for leaving a “S.O.S I need your help “ (Pg 12) in the location where he was staying. Although, that might sound crazy it is not because he had hope that someone might come around and save him from dying. Which I believe if many people who were in his situation might have done. Also people might say that Chris in Chapter 1 was crazy because “ he wasn't carrying anywhere near as much food and gear as you'd expect a guy to be carrying for that kind of trip” (pg 4), But chris was going to alaska with the intention of hunting for his
