While a large part of NGC’s strategy is devoted to prime contract development of capability-based systems for the Department of Defense, NGC also provides professional engineering services to provide value to its customers. In today’s busy world of technology, where it seems like we can hardly keep up with the daily advances being made, the United States Military is posed on the cutting edge. The military spends billions of dollars each year on electronic technology research with private firms such as International Telegraph and Telephone Aerospace/Communications Division (ITT A/CD). There is a wide range of uses for computers on today’s battlefield. Two of the major areas include communications, and battlefield management systems. All of these systems are just parts of the military’s tactical internet.
Fast knowledge is becoming the definitive method to solve problems and adapt to new situations but increasingly homogenized knowledge acquisition use is becoming larger than ever before and often with disastrous and unforeseeable consequences. The pollution of rivers with chemicals by the use of pesticides, and the acceptance that the gambling industry receives, show how using the knowledge from the information that people receive, still people needs to understand the new technologies or solutions these new ways bring as they could bring unintended or/and undesirable consequences.
At the July Association of the United States Army (AUSA) Conference, LTG Ostrowski, the Army Acquisition Executive Lead, conveyed the Army’s need for future network solutions. It was also shared in the FY16 Presidential Budget that the Army has several budget requests for Communications systems and upgrades totally over $1.2B (Keller, J. , 2015). This is an opportunity for the Comms BU to expand its customer base in the U.S. Army market place. Northrop Grumman was ranked in the Top 5 of Aerospace and Defense Companies in Forbes America’s Best Employers list (2017). Air Force Special Operations The United States of America is a powerful and well known force throughout the world. It has become a superpower of nations in just about three hundred years, being one of the newest nations in existence today. Its military reaches out into several countries in the globe and holds a presence as a peacekeeper and wielder of democracy. Of the US military’s five branches, the Air Force is the ruler of the skies, keeping control of the earth’s aerospace. Without the Air Force Special Operations, the military could not complete operations as effectively or efficiently as it potentially could.
Technological -The knowledge explosion has introduced new technology for nearly every business function. As we enter a technology based century, the technology used in every organizations operation is increasingly turbulent, rocked by forces such as competition and customer demands. The technological element tends to develop through periods of incremental change punctuated by technological breakthroughs that either improve or destroy the ability of firms in an industry. It is the current state of knowledge about the production of goods and services in an industry.

The knowledge acquired from other sources fed his mind into imagining and developing the Microsoft computer.
