Imagine your parents upset with you because of your Math grade went down from a B+ to a C-. You study your best even though you know you rather be doing playful things. Your parents are always at work from 6 in the morning to 5 or 6 P.M. You have no older siblings to help you out and your grandmother (who babysits) doesn’t understand the “new” concepts. Then what you do? The tutor center is around the block. This can help you and many children with new relationships and friends and your brain will be ready for even more advanced academics in class. Who wouldn’t want that? A tutoring center would benefit the community of Berlin because this will assist children’s academic excellence. We can have the high schoolers be the tutors. This will also help the high schoolers for academics. A study in 2012 shows that working with kids help with smarts also and caretaking likewise is always something great to be apart of. We can all always become smarter even though we sometimes don’t think so, deep inside we all know we can always become smarter. The children would get better grades and the teachers would be able to move on quicker for each unit. The high schoolers are big role models for the younger kids in Berlin. The high schoolers can create relationships with children in the community. This can feel like having a younger sibling to take care of. For the younger children it feels like you have an older sibling, that wants to take care of you under any circumstances. It feels like more than just helping my grades, it feels like you can kill two birds with one stone. Better grades and more, better, role modeling friends. The younger children can always help the high schoolers
