The English Civil War of 1642 caused turmoil to occur throughout the country. King Charles and Oliver Cromwell were the main leaders that fought against each other, this division in the country took on toll on everyone involved. Many different wars took place mainly between the Royalists and the Parliaments due to a difference in religious opinions. The English Civil War had many components to it, many involving King Charles who was ruling over England at the time.
