In Ancient Rome and China women didn’t have equality to men. From 200 B.C.E to 200 C.E the Roman Empire and Chinese Empire were taking shape. They were on opposite sides of each other in Eurasia. These two empires hardly knew of each other and had almost no contact. Ancient Rome and China were very similar yet so different. Rome started off as a small city-state on the western side of Central Italy. Romans started to kidnap neighboring women just to maintain its population.
