Working world today is full of obstacles and sophistication .Every profession of work has its own obstacles in carrying out their duties as well as the engineering profession. Engineers are constantly face with problems such as modifications due to new design changes, incompliance of contractors, poor construction workmanship, abnormal demands from clients and various problems as a result of miscommunication and contradicting interests as well as opinions in clients, contractors and other consultants. An engineer responsible to create and combine their new design attractive due to the world request. To make sure their design is good and effective , it is includes two importance aspect that is design adequacy and viability , and cost effectiveness. At the same time , engineers responsible to generate design solutions that are environmental friendly and suitable to the client requirement. Engineers have a duty to care about the environment , society and their client. This problem will take some cost to make sure their product success and suitable with what client want. All this of course need some investment. This is a challenge to engineers because all these investments will increase the cost of professional fees in engineering . The first issue come when in-house maintenance team needed is the cost. It will not be a big issue if the true cost of in-house maintenance is considered. It needs more cost because there are many hidden cost in the in- house maintenance service. All the cost are out of the actual salary. The hidden cost are

management costs , payroll processing costs , paying overtime work , training and development costs and sick cover . Usually , in-house maintenance team do not have enough skill so , it maybe needs some cost for processing the procurement and payment of spares .If one of the hidden cost is overlooked which it also the company cost, it will make the production lost.As an engineer the value of the product must come first because it will show our reputation as a good engineer to our client. But, if engineers more consider to the value than the hidden cost , it will makes cost of the company less relevant . This is the dilemma that engineers needs to face
