The Maya had many unbelievable achievements. One way to measure the greatest achievement is how much it boosted the Maya civilization. An achievement of the Maya, which I believe is the greatest achievement is their intellect. In other words, their knowledge. I believe that this is their greatest achievement because it has improved their society on to a whole new level. For example, they've created a number system, historical architecture, and have learned to survive in the harsh climate of their environment. As you can see, the Mayans greatest achievement is their knowledge. The most superior achievement of the Maya is their intellect. Their intelligence has helped them succeed in mathematics, astronomy and all of their different sciences.
The Aztec’s and Incas seemed like a very well devoted tribe to one another. Even though they only lived a few thousand miles away from each other and didn’t know about each other they were well known. The artifacts left behind shows that they were very advanced, and the food they ate they knew how to take care of their bodies. The Aztec and Inca’s also knew how to prepare for war also. These two tribes are some of the best warriors known to man.

One could have an ethnocentric denial of the sheer remarkability of the advancements of the Maya because of some of the advancements of the Western World at that time period, however, the Maya achieved feats that the Western World could not even fathom. In fact, much of Maya architecture, such as their pyramids, cannot even be replicated today. The greatness of the society may never be fully comprehended due to a lack of historical evidence, but the small amount of historical documents that remain paint an impressive picture of the Toltecs. Their use of beautiful architecture, great artwork, and the unique configuration of their city leaves many wishing that more was known about the culture of the ancient civilization.
