Introduction Nowadays, society seems to support the message that “thinness equals beauty”. Therefore, people actively seeking different kinds of methods to lose weight. Furthermore, the intermittent fasting diets become more common. The most attraction of the intermittent fasting diets is losing weight quickly. The intermittent fasting refers to controlled abstention from eating for predetermined, scheduled periods (Makaya, 2009). However, there are different types of intermittent fasting diets, such as Leangains, Eat Stop Eat and 5:2 diet. In addition, which type of intermittent fasting diet is the best for us to follow? Part A- by Chui Yik Wing There are many types of intermittent fasting diet. The three most common methods of intermittent fasting are Leangains, Eat Stop Eat and 5:2 diet. However, what is the difference between different of intermittent fasting diet? Matthews (2014) observes that Leangains is used by Martin Berkhan. The dieter of women should fast for 14 hours. Also, for the men, they should fast for 16 hours each day. Then, they can eat for the remaining six to eight hours.
