“Education is what remains after one has forgotten what one has learned in school” (Albert Einstein, Brainy Quotes). Education is one of the most important necessities in our country. It gives everyone in our country a basic knowledge of a wide variety of subjects that they could use in their life. It is what makes us civilized and gives us a sense of equality. Although education is good, the scheduling for the students in the school is harming their ability to learn. Some people believe that their is no problem with our current schedule in our education system. They believe that the problem is with the students themselves. In their mind, the students are lazy, and don’t have any ambition to do well in school. Many schools have taught seven classes in a school day, so why does the school need to change their system after all these years? This side of the argument views this step as coddling the students of today. Those who are for this change understand that school material is different than it was years ago. This side of the argument understands that the demand on students today is a heavy load than their parents. The answer to this is they will have more time to go over more material in one day. This means they could get through the original plan they were using before in a more timely manner. This allows students to be able to take multiple classes in a year. If the students have an in depth study of the class with more time to learn the material, the student will be able to take more classes in the school year. This is because the student can get through all of the material in the allowed time and have a better chance at understanding what the teacher is
