In The Film Star Trek a Warp Core is defined as a faster-than-light transportation device. This definition make a Warp Core an impossible device. Such a device cannot exist, simply by the fact that nothing can move faster-than the speed of light.
Either the definition of a Warp Core is not correct, or such a device cannot possibly exist.
According to the Laws clearly defined in Relativity, it is impossible to move faster than the speed of light simple because everything is always moving at the speed of light.
Why is this true? Relativity dictates. E = M c^2 .
Everything that has energy must move at the speed of light, since everything is made from Energy.
The only speed in the universe is the speed of light. All Energy must move at this

It is right to assume, that Warp Core affects space and time through the properties of Mass/Energy.
The true definition of A Warp Core is Energy pump. Absorbing enormous amount of Energy and using it to alter the space-time continuum.
A Warp Core is simply any mass that effects space and time by bending and distorting it.
It is not necessary to move faster-than-light, since this term is meaningless. Bending space-time is more effective than breaking the light barrier.
Every object in the universe must distort space-time as long as its mass is positive. In other words, any object with positive mass must effect its surrounding space-time by bending it.
Distances increases depending on the effect of the mass. The more an object weighs, the more effect it has on its surrounding space and time.
The heavier an object is, the more it stretches its space-time around itself.
A star that has completely collapse into a black hole has infinite distance around itself. So it will take forever to travel away from the star. It is in effect a fully operation warp core because there is no turning back, the process must continue until space-time negates itself and starts flowing
Starting with black holes, Khalili describes the creation of one. I found that a black hole is what remains when a massive star dies. Because stars are so massive and made out of gas, there is an intense gravitational field that is always trying to collapse the star. As the star dies, the nuclear fusion reactions stop because the fuel for these reactions gets burned up. At the same time, the star's gravity pulls material inward and compresses the core. As the core compresses, it heats up and eventually creates a supernova explosion in which the material and radiation blasts out into space. What remains is the highly compressed and extremely massive core. The core's gravity is so strong that even light cannot escape. This object is now a black hole and literally cannot be seen because of the absence of light. Because the core's gravity is so strong, the core sinks through the fabric of space-time, creating a hole in space-time. The core becomes the central part of the black hole called the singularity. The opening of the hole is called the event horizon. Khalili describes that there are two different kinds of black holes:
...Another way to decrease the disturbance over the wings are to move the wings lower than the horizontal stabilizer or visa versa to allow the shock waves moving over each wing to miss each other. Most aircraft today do not have enough fuel to maintain the speed of sound for great distances. Engineers have designed a brand new aircraft known as the F-22, which has the ability to fly an entire mission at supersonic speeds. The speed of light is unattainable by aircraft due to drag. We have no materials that could with stand the heat caused by the friction of the air moving over its body, nor materials strong enough to be able to take the enormous drag. Today there is no thrust capability that would allow for the speed of light. Although aircraft has proved such things as time dilation it is still impossible for an aircraft to travel at 900,000 miles per second.
Black holes are thought to be a portal to another dimension or a way for time to slip. Mainly all these theories follow the laws of physics and do not cross any illogical possibilities. For a way in which we can achieve any of these would be through many more years of research. If even physically possible for any of these hypotheses to coexist with one another. Learning that there’s a possible way for black holes to allow time to lapse or elapse. The study has been a challenge, finding ways in which these ideas could work. Theories about space time are not always true, but they allow us to have an improved understanding towards the, what ifs.
Photons always travel at the speed of light, but they lose energy when traveling out of a gravitational field and appear to be redder to an external observer. The stronger the gravitational field, the more energy the photons lose because of this gravitational red shift. The extreme case is a black hole where photons from within a certain radius lose all their energy and become invisible.
A Black Hole is defined as an object in space that is so compact, that has a gravitational pull so powerful, not even light can escape its pull. In most cases Black Holes are formed when a massive star (much larger than our own) undergoes a supernova explosion. When this happens, the star may collapse on its own gravitational pull, thus resulting in a an object with infinitely large density and zero volume. As a result, the escape velocity (the speed required to escape the gravitational pull) becomes even greater than the speed of light, and because nothing can travel faster than the speed of light, nothing can escape a black hole.
Black holes - the strange scientific phenomenon that has astounded physicists and astronomers alike for decades. Popular subjects in science fiction novels, black holes are one of the greatest enigmas of the scientific world. Even today, the concept of a super-dense ball of matter that not even light can escape from is somewhat farfetched, and many scientists disagree with each other about nearly every aspect of a black hole. This project will attempt to shed some light on these mysterious formations, and will inform you the reader of the most popular and widely accepted theories surrounding them.
Greene continues with his explanations of the special theory of relativity.Chapter 3: Of Warps and Ripples Green begins the chapter by describing "Newton's View of Gravity" and continues by discussing the incompatibility of Newtonian Gravity and Special Relativity. The author also talks about how Einstein discovered the link between acceleration and the warping of space and time. Greene also discuses the basic aspects of General Relativity. He later points out how the two theories of relativity effect black holes, the big bang, and the expansion of space.Chapter 4: Microscopic Weirdness This chapter describes, in detail, the workings of quantum mechanics.
Black holes were originally thought to have only mere mathematical concepts. There was seemingly no possible way to compress any object into a space small enough to equal to its schwarzschild radius. Later however, astronomer Subrahmanyan Chandrasekhar calculated that stars much larger than our own sun should theoretically be able to collapse into a black hole (UTFC). A star is like a blown up balloon with the force of gravity trying to compress the balloon inwards and the air trying to push the balloon outwards. Likewise, stars are held in balance by gravity trying to collapse the star inwards going against the outwards pressure of the internal reactions of the star called nuclear fusion.
This is where technologies like cryogenics and hyper-sleep/stasis come into play. Because of this huge amount of time required to travel intergalactically, Alcubierre’s Drive is currently proposed as a solution to interstellar travel. Even so, we never know what the future holds; it is quite possible that we can develop a powerful enough Alcubierre Drive to reach Andromeda within minutes.
...e times the mass of the sun. In this case gravity is overwhelmingly strong and is able to crush the neutron star towards zero mass. The result is a black hole with a gravitational field strong enough to not even let light escape (Brusca, 2004).
After a supernova, the core is likely to travel someplace else within space. When the core is less size than about 5 solar masses, the neutrons will halt the collapse of the star. This will create a Neutron Star. Neutron stars are observed as pulsars or X-ray binaries. When the core is very large, nothing that h...
From Milky Way to Pegasus to the Universe gate the stargate has gone through many looks in the series. It always maintains the same basic principle of rapid transport across vast distances. Even going so far as to have a massive version of it powered by a black hole. The workings and history of the stargate is a lot more detailed than people

The Sun, in turn, is moving in an undulating orbit around the centre of the MIlky Way at 800,000 km/h (ka-boom would be 15 TJ - about a 3.5 kiloton baby nuke), which in turn is moving with the Local Group towards the Virgo Cluster, which in turn...... and so on and so on.
