Since Shimon Peres’ political career spans back about 40 years, he’s done a lot for the current conflict, for example he worked with Yitzhak Rabin on the Oslo accords as israel's foreign minister. Francisco Pizarro was a famous Spanish explorer. On September 13, 1524, Francisco Pizarro set sail from Panama to a conquest of Peru. He brought about eighty men and forty horses with him. In 1528, Pizarro went back to Spain managed to obtain in a group of people from Emperor Charles V. Francisco Pizarro was known for capturing the Inca Emperor, Emperor Atahualpa, in 1532. In 1533, Pizarro conquered Peru.
Overall, Olmert as a prime minister was successful in being consistent in using negotiations to try to create peace even though long term peace was never gained. He worked hard to come up with plans and agreements, and met with different important figures in the world regarding the Arab-Israeli conflict. Using peace has prevented some violence between the Palestinians and Israelis as well as other countries. While Olmert is not in office anymore, he still believes a peaceful approach is the answer to help end this conflict.
To begin with, this author should like to offer some brief background as to the content of "The Wounds Of Peace" prior to my assessment. "The Wounds Of Peace" is a label which the author has applied to attempts of leaders of various countries throughout the Middle East to come to terms and create, or forge a partnership. To this extent, the author cites a process that began in Oslo, and, as the author states "One that compelled fiercely reluctant men on both sides to forge some of the most unlikely and creative partnerships in the history of diplomacy." (Bruck, p.4) The chief players throughout this scenario include Benjamin Netanyahu, Yasir Arafat, Shimon Peres, as well as others. The author begins with a discussion of a visit with Shimon Peres, who had been succeeded by Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. Peres had expressed serious trepidation regarding his successor and his ability to handle the complex diplomatic aspects relating to the various strategies and tactics regarding the peace process and conflict management. To a large extent, it must be stated that the players, the respective geographical areas, and the positions they hold amongst each other(s) are highly complex. In fact, it is virtually impossible to define the role as well as its multidimensional ramifications in terms of diplomacy, and the many principles and theories of negotiation and conflict management as is the case.

Men and woman in this town are being accused and hanged for witchcraft with little to no evidence, like a corrupt authority. My neighbor, Elizabeth Proctor, has been accursed of witchcraft yet has stayed faithful to her family and religion throughout these crazed events of the Salem Witch Trials.
Since the inception of an Israeli nation-state in 1948, violence and conflict has played a major role in Israel’s brief history. In the Sixty-One year’s Israel has been a recognized nation-state, they have fought in 6 interstate wars, 2 civil wars, and over 144 dyadic militarized interstate disputes (MIDs) with some display of military force against other states (Maoz 5). Israel has been involved in constant conflict throughout the past half century. Israel’s tension against other states within the Middle East has spurred vast economic, social, and political unity that has fostered a sense of nationalism and unity in Israel not seen in most other states. Over the next several pages I will try and dissect the reasons for why the nation state of Israel has been emerged in constant conflict and how this conflict has helped foster national unity and identity among the people of Israel.

The Israeli-Palestine conflict is an event that has been well documented throughout the course of Middle-Eastern history. The conflict dates back as far as the nineteenth century where Palestine and Zionist, will later be known as Israel, are two communities each with different ideologies had the same overwhelming desire to acquire land. However, what makes this clash what it is, is the fact that both of these up and coming communities are after the same piece of land. The lengths that both sides went to in order obtain they believed was theirs has shaped the current relationship between the two nations today.

With “little wisdom and no experience,” he, along with six hundred and fifty others, was taken from his home, stuffed in one of twelve wagons, and hauled off to the unknown. The average life expectancy of a new entrant was three months but Levi lived in the concentration camp at Auschwitz for ten months before the camp was liberated by the Red Army. The tradition of Las Posadas goes back 400 years in Mexico. The roots of Las Posadas are in Catholicism and Protestant Latinos. Las Posadas was most likely started in the 16th century by Friar Pedro de Gante. It also may have been started by early friars who combined Spanish Catholicism with the December Aztec celebration of the birth of Huitzilopochtli. Las Posadas is celebrated with a reenactment of Mary and Joseph on the night Jesus was born. Certain houses are asignated to be an "inn". Bunche was successful in negotiating an armistice agreement between Israel and Egypt in February 1949 (Waage, 2011). Bunche, however, faced many difficulties during the mediation process because he lacked leverage against the Israel (the stronger disputant), and Israel also received unparalleled support from those with the ability to affect the direction of the negotiations (Waage, 2011). Although the armistice designed by Bunche set the groundwork for further negotiations in the Arab-Israeli conflict, it did not lead to peace between Israel and her Arab neighbours (Waage, 2011). Israel had not only won the war against the Arabs but had strong and biased support from US president (Harry S. Truman) and the UN secretary-general (Trygve Lie). Truman at the time as he sought the votes of Jewish Americans and Israel sympathisers in order to win the next US presidential election while Lie had strong personal sympathy for Israel and wanted the negotiations to end in their favour (Waage, 2011).
For many centuries, Judaic and Arabian societies have engaged in one of the most complicated and lengthy conflicts known to mankind, the makings of a highly difficult peace process. Unfortunately for all the world’s peacemakers the Arab-Israeli conflict, particularly the war between Israel and the Palestinian Territories, is rooted in far more then ethnic tensions. Instead of drawing attention towards high-ranking officials of the Israeli government and Hamas, focus needs to be diverted towards the more suspect and subtle international relations theory of realism which, has imposed more problems than solutions.

The United States benefited when Israel destroyed the Egyptian and Syrian armies during the 1967 and 1973 wars.” (Bowman and Bourassa). The United States and Israel’s bond has been getting stronger and stronger as the years go by because the United States have been supporting Israel for almost five decades. If they continue to have this bond with each other; the two countries, Israel and Palestine, could possibly end up having peace together once and for all because the United states could help them through it like if it were a therapist. Bill Clinton, an ex president of the United States, attempted to fix the conflict between the two countries by making a peace treaty between Israel and Jordan; another country Israel has problems with, Clinton hoped that if there was a peace treaty with Israel and Jordan then tension between Israel and Palestine would calm down a bit, but it actually did not really work out as well as he thought it would be (Bowman and Bourassa).
