Tupac Shakur Is Still Alive
On September 7, 1996, Tupac Amaru Shakur was riding in the passenger side of a black BMW driven by Marion Suge Knight, president of Death Row Records. Tupac and Suge had just finished watching Mike Tyson defeat Bruce Seldon at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas, Nevada. Tupac was standing up through the sunroof while the car was stopped at a traffic light. The Cadillac containing the gunmen passed an entourage of Tupac’s allies, many of them bodyguards. Four unidentified men pulled alongside Suge’s car, fired 13 rounds, and sped away. No one gives chase and there were no witnesses on the street. How come? Why not, especially after a heavyweight fight? Tupac was shot in multiple places including his pelvis, hand, and torso. Suge was grazed in the head w/ a slug of a bullet fragment. On Friday, September 13, 1996, he was reportedly pronounced dead at 4:03 p.m. at the University Medical Center in Las Vegas. But, did he really die? There are many suspicious details about his departure that contribute to this theory. It is supposed that Tupac is still alive b/c of things said before and after his death, actions done before and after his death, and other reports.
“I got a big money scheme, and you ain’t even wit’ it,” 2Pac states in the song “I Ain’t Mad At Cha.” 2Pac certainly earned a lot of money by faking his death. His LP All Eyez On Me (1996), rap’s first 2 disc album, shot back up to the Billboard top 10 in the weeks following his death. His latest CD, The Don Killuminati: The Seven-Day Theory, recorded under the alias Makaveli, debuted on the Billboard charts as the number one album in the nation. By selling 664,000 copies, it surpassed the “gold” plateau in one week and is now a multi-platinum hit. Sales of his other CD’s also increased dramatically, w/ his third solo album, Me Against the World (1995), actually climbing back onto the Billboard charts.
Las Vegas is a payoff city, meaning all sorts of folks have been known to be on the take, like lawyers, doctors, press, etc. When Tupac was in the Las Vegas hospital and one of his lungs was removed, the doctors were tight-lipped about his condition. One counterargument that may mislead people into thinking that Tupac is still alive is the fact that an autopsy picture and report were released. Have you ever been standing in a grocery line and happen to see The National Inquirer? Well, if so, then you know how pictures can be altered, right? Also, on the autopsy report, it states that he weighed 215 pounds when he only weighed 168. Not only that, but it also declares that he was 6’ 2” when he was only 5’10”.
Another counterargument that is trying to disprove his still being alive is that his mother is going around the country speaking of her son’s death. Of course she or anyone for that fact, that knows that he is still alive isn’t going to admit it. He supposedly faked his death, then why would anyone blow his cover by admitting that he is still around?
Once one summarizes all the evidence, the things said before and after his death, actions before and after his death, among other reports, it becomes obvious that Tupac Amaru Shakur is not dead.

Tupac Amaru Shakur was born on June 16, 1971 in New York City to Afeni Shakur, a Black Panther member since 1968. She gave birth to him 2 months after she was released from Women’s House of Detentions in Grenwich Village. She was charged with conspiracy to bomb several New York public locations and just had her bail revoked. In court she represented herself and won against the state of New York in a surprising turn out. In Incan dialect, his name Tupac Amaru means “shining serpent” and Shakur is Arabic for “thankful to God.” For most of his childhood his crack addicted mother shuffled Tupac between the ghettos of Harlem and the Bronx. Young Tupac began his performance career with the 127th Street Ensemble and then enrolled Baltimore School for the Arts where he was educated in ballet and acting. Tupac was forced to drop out of the school because he had to move to California with his mother, where his criminal career began. He left his house at the age of 17 because of the continuous fights with his mother he then began selling/doing drugs, and was homeless for about 2 years. His life was spiraling down wards at a rapid rate. Till one day he got his big break. Tupac always dreamt about being famous someday, now his dream was becoming a reality. He struck a recording deal with Interscope records. He was on his way to super stardom, but as we all know with fame comes problems. He was involved in the shooting of two off duty police officers, although the chargers were later dropped. He was also convicted of rape, and sentenced to 5 years in Clinton Correctional Facilities.
Through all his family and education issues, he stood up to become a well-known hip-hop artist according to his history background. He released a couple albums and then was offered to be in some movies. He made some songs and music videos with them that made it big on the Billboard charts. For example, in these movies and albums called, “Power respect Juice” (1992), “Bullet”(1996), “Gang Related” (1997), “all eyez on me”(1996),”Greatest Hits”(1998), and “Until the end of time”(2001), according to all these released, he won prizes from music and artist industry, people can recognize him. Tupac has become rich and famous and he is not showing off his own style.
I still believe that he is alive. I believe in all of the evidence that I have suggested that he some how in some way faked his own death. I believe that Tupac, his family and some presumably well-paid, official looking stand- ins have conspired to pull of the ultimate scam. But is it really a scam? A scam to gain what? There is still a multi- million-dollar life insurance policy out there with Tupac’s name on it. It’s been six years and no one has bothered to cash it. I will tell you why. He had a reason to believe that his life was in danger, and he had to do something to take care of it. Besides haven’t you ever been curious about who would show up at your funeral, and who would really be crying? Tupac was curious, but he never had a funeral, so his questions may never be answered
Immediately after Tupac Shakur’s murder the night of September 7, 1996, possible suspects were targeted and investigated. Among the earliest accused was Suge Knight, the creator of Death Row Records (Scott 183). Shakur’s contract with Death Row was a profit vacuum for Knight because of Shakur’s immense talent and popularity. And, allegedly, a four-million dollar insurance policy was enacted on Tupac after signing with Death Row Records, giving Death Row the benefit rather than his family (Scott 183). This policy reinforced the idea that Tupac was the driving money force for Death Row; therefore, he was extremely valuable for the success of the company. As Knight once said, "Tupac IS Death Row." How much does the world really know about Tupac Shakur? Tupac Shakur was a renowned hip hop artist whose rap music brought up many controversial topics. Tupac’s lifestyle played a large role in his contribution to music. Without his continual perseverance through his struggles in his early life, he wouldn’t have accomplished what he has done so later on in his career. His impact on the music industry has also greatly influenced the way society depicts the African American community. Shakur’s music has given white, middle-class Americans an insight on what it’s like to live in an inner city. (Josh Nisker). The first reason that I believe Tupac is still alive is because before 2Pac died he changed his name to Makaveli after the author Niccolo Machiaveli. 2Pac read a book written by Niccolo that was based on a man faking his death to fool his enemies and returned when he was 43. Right from the beginning of the son bad words are said, and followed all throughout. In the song, Tupac clearly states that he slept with Biggie’s wife and to not mess with him. He also mentions the shooting incident that involved Biggie, and how that doesn't affect him because he is still in top. Listening to this song to me was very hard because of the explicit language used, I even had to look up the lyrics because it was hard to follow what he was saying. This song was just another way for Tupac to show up Biggie and others that he is the best and they will never measure up to him as said in the song,“You motherf****ers can’t be us or see us. He was taught radical politics by his mother, which helped him develop ideas about topics he would later use in his many works. At an early age, Tupac had seen the injustices of the real world. His mother was a former Black Panther activist who turned to substance abuse during Tupac’s childhood. Aside from that, he and his mother also moved many times while they lived together in New York City. It is known that his fame is compared to Notorious B.I.G’s fame. But, the most astounding status on the album charts that Biggie at any point accomplished while alive was #13 on the main 200 album charts, and #3 on the Rap and RnB outlines. but in reality it had been able to have the politicians, adults and people who didn't even listen and enjoyed rap music allowed Tupac and all the others that he spoke for to become recognised.
