In Dictionary terms, Trust is the firm belief in the reliability, truth, ability, or strength of someone or something. The second meaning is, confidence placed in a person by making that person the nominal owner of property to be held or used for the benefit of one or more others. Here is how trust can be depicted in many situations, and how it is shown. Trust goes a long way in relationships between two individuals. Trust is a key quality to have with your significant other. A relationship isn’t a healthy one without having trust in eachother, for example, having trust means having confidence that your significant other will always be loving and faithful

Growing up with younger siblings at one point parents remind y’all to always look after one another, protect each other from bullies, or getting into trouble with the wrong crowd. Having trust in your family is very significant in life because nobody else will love and protect you like your own blood does. Growing up as the oldest sibling, I was always asked by my mother to make sure my younger brother was safe and stayed out of mischief out of her watch. She placed her trust in my hands to ensure the safety of my little brother and I made it a priority to uphold her trust in myself as her second set of eyes and ears on my little brother. The trust she has for me isn’t one I intend on breaking. Without her trust, I would be limited to normal teenage activities like going out alone with a group of friends, attending sleepovers being on my best behavior, and many other events. Breaking trust with a loved family member such as my mom for example, is heartbreaking because you know they can’t rely on the things you say, promise, or do.
