The Treaty of Versailles contributed to World War 2 because of much of the land that was lost from Germany. Germany was a huge country that it had land from France to Poland. Since it was such a big country with tons of land, it lost large amounts of space because of the Treaty of Versailles. Germany lost the following territories Polish Corridor, Alsace, and Lorraine. To make matters worse, much of their “Western side became demilitarized”. Leaving the Western Side of Germany unprotected and unsafe. This left Netherlands,Belgium and France a shot of Germany without having to think about any possible complications. In addition, the treaty took away the areas for coal from Germany.
