Transitions A transition is changing form one stage to another. Transitions a child could experience. The transitions can affect all areas of a child’s the development. An emotional transition could be a death of a family member or pet. A physical transition may be moving to a new area or country. An intellectual transition could be moving from preschool to primary school. A Physiological transition may be changes in growth. Some transitions you should expect. They are experienced by nearly everyone. Babies experience transitions when they’re moving from pureed to solid foods. They also experience it when they go from crawling to walking. Children experience transitions when starting preschool or moving from preschool to primary school.
