Discrimination Against Transgender
People around the world seem to have problems with people becoming the opposite gender of the gender they were born with but it’s mostly because they don’t understand how they feel and what they experience on the inside. People who are transgender said to feel as if they don’t belong in their body or they don’t feel the gender they are born with. Parents would say that it may just be a phase and would try to prevent them from doing anything that they may regret in their future because whatever happens to them is the parent’s responsibility. For School they restrict and have a lot of rules for those who express being transgender like with gender neutral bathrooms or separate locker rooms for them in gym, etc. However an article on a boy who expresses himself as female said that she doesn’t want to use a gender neutral bathroom because she doesn’t want to be categorized as something other than a female. She said that “I’m a girl. I am not going to be pushed away into another bathroom.” - Bathroom Access for Transgender Teen Divides Town. Because of her action she was able to stand up for what she believes is right and also have a student body on her side as well. This is good that she decided to do something about her situation however her action will impact a lot of people around her and in her town especially parents. But she isn’t wrong to do what she did because the only genders out there are males and females and she shouldn’t use a bathroom that makes her look like she’s something else or feel different from other people. Although she may have a point however it’s logical why she’s in this situation and it’s not just because of the school rules but the people around her in school and their parents because parents will be overprotective and sensitive if a school allowed students walk into a bathroom that doesn’t match with their actual …show more content…

Even parts are different for both males and females so that’s why there are strict rules for transgender people. So to be honest there are no actual qualified bathrooms for transgender people other than gender neutral bathrooms but hopefully in the future there would be better rules on this. School and Future Careers are the hardest thing for Transgender to get social with because of how other people would think. Mostly their surroundings in general because of how people would think of them including all the restrictions given to them as well. This situation has the most negative impact on transgender
